Hello beautiful beings,

It's Linda here from Neutralising with Love.

I was just thinking about meditation and what it means to different people and how some people go,

Oh I can't meditate and I just wanted to have a quick chat about what meditation might mean to you.

Yes,

Awesome meditations here on the platform,

You know that.

You know you can always find something to sit still and be around.

But what if you can't actually sit still and be around a meditation?

What are the options?

One friend of mine,

A beautiful friend,

Has three young children.

So she does her meditations with her ear pods in and with the family doing what they do.

So basically she's meditating as she's being a mama.

She's not taking that one singular time because she's by herself with three young ones and it's not practical for her to do that.

And what if you don't want to sit still and meditate?

What if your body wants to move?

Find something with movement that you can involve yourself in.

I go out into my garden,

There's always a weed to be pulled and you have to focus on weeds otherwise you don't get all of the root out.

You can dance or bop or be a part of like an embodiment program and just find what it is that moves your body in a meditative way.

African dance,

Moving to drumming,

Sitting still watching the sunset,

Walking along the beach,

Walking in the park and noticing what grows.

There are so many different ways that you can quote unquote meditate.

And that mindfulness word,

I think it kind of gets a bit overused but that's really what this is about.

So have a think about what you could use,

What could you use that would just bring your mind from the busyness of your day for five seconds,

For ten seconds,

For an hour,

For whatever it is that you have the time for and gift it to yourself with intention to hold a beautiful space for you.

Write down some ideas and when you're really feeling stretched and you know your brain is on that,

Oh my goodness busy mode I can't stop for anything,

Find a very small space to just be you.

I tell you if you do it with intention you only need about ten seconds.

Okay my gorgeous beings,

I send you big hugs over the airwaves and feel these love bubbles bouncing over the air to you and I'll see you either in the next live or down in the meditations that I've done.

And just one last thought,

If you've listened to this and you're not following me,

Do come and see what I'm doing.

I'd love to meet you.

Sending you love once again.

Bye for now.
