Hi there,
My name is Lindsay and I will be guiding you on this meditation.
Sit down or lay comfortably with your eyes gently closed.
If you feel aligned to do so,
You can place your left hand on your heart and your right hand over the left.
Exhaling the breath,
Inhale and exhale slowly through the nostrils.
Take notice of the coolness around the base of the nostrils,
How it enters the body,
The pause right before the exhale,
The warmth of the exhale as it leaves the body,
And the warmth of the breath now that is at the base of the nostrils,
Right above the upper lip.
Use your breath as an example of just how powerful you are.
You take one thing and within seconds make it something completely different.
Before this plants grow and the world moves.
You are a powerful force.
Notice that within each breath.
Sometimes we get caught up in expectations and the demands we put on ourselves.
In moments such as these we are tempted to devalue our own self-worth.
In truth we have just forgotten who we really are.
Let this meditation guide you,
Choosing to repeat these next statements out loud or in the mind.
I am a human being,
Being and doing exactly what I choose to do.
I am filling my life with experiences,
Growth and acceptance.
I am a miracle.
I am radiant.
I am limitless with endless potential.
I am calm,
Confident and clear.
I am clever and creative.
I am free and full of light.
I am strong.
I am empowered.
I am whole.
I am beautiful.
I am compassionate and I am kind.
I am a unique gift to the world.
I am so proud of all that I am.
I am loved.
I am deeply and unconditionally loved.
I love myself.
I deeply and unconditionally love myself.
I am love.
Sit quietly and reflect on the goodness you feel,
The strength in your heart and the weight that has been lifted.
Focusing on your breath,
Give it gratitude for its life force.
Give gratitude for the energy you are creating and for your life.
Simply listening to my words and take them inward,
Hold them in your heart space.
You are a unique and cherished gift to the world.
Whatever comes your way,
You can handle with ease and grace.
Taking a deep,
Deep breath,
Fully filling your lungs.
As you exhale,
Let go with a big sigh.
Doing this one more time,
Maybe stretching out the body,
Stretching as far as you can go and as you exhale,
Sighing,
Letting it go,
Letting it all out.
Relaxing back into your space.
And whenever you are ready,
In your own time,
Gently open your eyes.
It is good to feel good.
Honor that.
Thank you for meditating with me.
