Carving out a moment for yourself is the first step toward embracing new beginnings and inspiration.

This meditation is all about finding a quiet moment to just pause and breathe.

It's about giving yourself a break from the everyday hustle and seeing what comes up for you when you do.

This is your time to reflect,

Recharge,

And maybe even discover something new about what you want and where you're headed.

So find a comfortable spot,

Take a deep breath,

And close your eyes.

Take another nice long slow inhale in,

Really grounding yourself into this space,

Getting ready to just let go and be here.

Just noticing where you are right now,

In that spot that feels just right.

You may be on the ground or in a chair.

You may even be laying down.

Whatever feels right for you.

Place your hands comfortably.

They can be on your knees or resting on your lap.

Or you can even put one hand on your chest and one hand on your belly just to notice the rise and fall.

Now close your eyes and take a second just to be here,

Right in this moment.

Forget about the to-do list,

What's for dinner,

Or that email you have to send later.

Just be.

Now let's focus on your breath.

Take a big deep breath in.

Feel your chest expand and fill up with air.

And then let it out nice and slow.

Like you're letting out a sigh of relief.

Let's do that again.

Feeling your chest and your belly expand.

And then sigh it out.

Continue to do this.

Deep breathing in and sighing it out.

And every time you release the air,

Think about letting go of something that's just bothering you or feeling tension in your body.

Even if it's just a little.

And with each breath let yourself sink a bit deeper.

Feeling a little bit more relaxed.

Letting go of all of those things that are on your to-do list to just be here.

Now let those deep breaths go and continue to breathe naturally.

In through the nose.

And out through the nose.

But have your focus be on filling up your belly.

Nice,

Long,

Slow,

Intentional breaths.

Finding your own rhythm.

But really connecting to the air that's coming in.

And going out.

Now imagine you're standing in a wide open space.

It could be a field or a quiet beach.

And you're there just before the sun starts to rise.

It's peaceful.

And you've got the whole place to yourself.

This is your blank slate.

The start of something new.

It's that feeling you get at the start of the new year but without the pressure.

You feel it inside of you.

Something new is coming.

Something good.

Something exciting.

It's just beneath the surface.

So as you feel this inside your body ask yourself,

What is something new I want to start?

It doesn't have to be big.

Maybe it's just taking five minutes for yourself in the morning.

Or trying out a new hobby.

But let the ideas come naturally and don't rush it.

What's something new I want to start?

Trying out something new can feel overwhelming but this is about discovering something that excites you.

Opening up possibilities in your life.

Even small,

Tiny steps to just try something new.

And not feeling overwhelmed by it but energized.

Now silently repeat to yourself,

I'm ready for new beginnings.

I am open to trying them out.

I'm ready for new beginnings.

Believing that in your heart to be true.

Now picture the first light of the day creeping in.

It's slowly lighting up everything around you.

That's the energy of starting fresh.

Of getting things to start moving.

Feel it inside of you bold.

That energy ready to tackle anything.

But without that overwhelm.

Imagine this energy as a little spark inside you.

Getting brighter and stronger with every breath you take.

Think about where you're ready to make a move or change something up.

It could be anything,

Big or small.

Feel that inner strength bubbling up ready to support you.

What moves are you ready to make?

What changes are you wanting right now?

Understanding what changes and what moves you want to make.

Think about a small step you can try right now,

Today.

To move in that direction.

Don't let pressure overwhelm you.

Don't let anything get in your way.

It's a small step,

Something you know in your heart that you can do.

To move one step closer.

Now silently repeat,

I'm taking steps forward.

I am guided by my own inner compass.

I'm taking steps forward.

I'm taking steps forward today.

As the sun gets higher and the light starts to spread all around.

Everything lining up just right in the sky.

The warm sun hitting your skin.

This is a moment of alignment and you are part of it.

So take a moment to align yourself with what you really want.

Even if you're not totally sure what that is just yet.

Know in your heart that you are on the right path.

And just allow yourself to trust,

To surrender,

And to continue to dream big and follow those instincts,

Whatever they may be.

Now often the most challenging part is to let go of the old in order to make room for the new.

So take a moment to think about what you're ready to leave behind.

Old habits,

Worries,

Doubts,

Whatever has been holding you back.

Picture them fading away in the morning light.

Getting smaller and smaller until they're gone.

Now silently repeat,

I am clearing out the old to make room for the new.

I feel free.

I am ready to let go.

Feeling fully connected,

Take a nice long slow inhale in through the nose.

And then just let it out.

Take one last look at that beautiful sky.

Remembering this feeling as you go about your day and your week.

This fresh start energy is with you.

That excitement to start something new.

That you are on the right path that's just made for you.

You're ready to take on whatever comes your way,

One step at a time.

And when you're ready,

Start to bring yourself back.

Moving your fingers and your toes.

Maybe stretching a bit.

And then open your eyes.

Taking in all the calm and positive vibes that you just created for yourself.

Allowing your mind to be open to possibilities.

To be excited about taking steps forward.

And the opportunities that await you.

Take another nice long slow inhale in.

Exhale that out.

And have a great day.
