A deeper sense of Intimacy whether with a partner or with yourself, that is the goal of this meditation. During this compassion-based meditation, a couple can face each other while standing in a well-lit room or a person can enjoy the practice using a mirror on their own. Establish a deeper connection, acceptance and feelings of self-worth. Enjoy the exercise as often as you find time, cherishing each moment, allowing the benefits to seep into your everyday life.

This meditation is intended to help couples attain a new level of intimacy in their relationship during this last couple of years.

A lot of people have been living together in the same house and spending a lot more time together,

But oftentimes we don't focus on that connection at a deeper level.

So I'm thrilled that you're here right now.

If you have a partner that you would like to share this meditation with,

I invite you to have them listen along with you.

You need to be in a space that has good enough lighting so that you can look into each other's eyes.

You don't want to be in the dark for this one.

If you do not have a partner in your life,

Please do feel free to enjoy this meditation on your own.

But I would advise that you look at yourself in a mirror.

It can be in the mirror in your bathroom.

It can be in a handheld mirror,

Wherever you happen to be.

It can be in your rear view mirror of your car.

If you happen to be out and about.

Normally with the meditations that I share,

I ask people to close their eyes,

But obviously that is not appropriate for this meditation.

I want you to keep your eyes open.

I want you to go ahead and focus whether you are standing up,

Which frankly is ideal,

Or if you are sitting down,

Please focus on your feet being firmly planted on the ground beneath you.

I'd like to invite you,

If you are with a partner,

To go ahead and face each other.

You might want to hold hands,

Or not.

Touch is not a requirement.

I want you to look into each other's faces and admire how beautiful they are.

If you are gazing at yourself in the mirror,

Notice how beautiful you are.

Every bump,

Every imperfection,

Every hair makes you even more perfect.

Bring love into your heart,

Into your mind.

Move as you gaze at the beautiful face in front of you.

I'd like you to go ahead and focus your gaze on the left eye of your partner.

Just focus on that left eye,

Noticing the colors in that eye,

Noticing the deep black pupil of that eye,

Feeling that connection.

I want you to repeat after me and say these words to your partner,

Or to yourself if you're in the mirror.

I love you.

You are enough.

You have always been enough.

And you will continue to be enough.

Say these words to each other at the very same time.

Still focusing on that left eye.

Take a deep breath in.

Exhale.

Move your attention now to your partner's right eye.

And repeat after me,

Saying these words at the very same time.

I love you.

You are enough.

You have always been enough.

And you will always be enough.

Allow a beautiful smile to grace your face.

And remember these last couple of moments,

Taking the time to connect with another human being that you love so dearly,

Or yourself.

You are enough.

You have always been enough.

Thank you so very much for stopping by.
