Bismillah,

Rahman,

Raheem,

In the name of the one most compassionate,

Most merciful,

Most kind.

This is Mark Silver with Heart of Business.

Allah.

One of the things that sometimes isn't so obvious is how do you bring an issue to the remembrance?

I often say that,

Well bring it to the remembrance or bring that into the remembrance and see what your heart says.

But it's not always so clear if you haven't had a habit of doing that.

And the language itself can really lend itself to doing,

To like a workshop style effort.

And that's really not what we're hoping for.

So if you're facing something in your business or your life and you're wanting to look at it in remembrance,

Let's just start by taking a nice gentle breath and noticing how you feel.

Noticing how much space there is for exactly how you feel without needing to change or fix anything.

Allah.

Noticing that there's so much space to be exactly where you are,

Exactly what's true for you now.

You don't even have to make space.

There's even space to not want to feel what you're feeling and to still be there.

And then bringing your attention to your heart high up in your chest and just beginning to call through the open doorway of your heart.

Beginning to call the name of the divine.

Beginning to call to the oneness.

Allah.

Not trying to change or fix.

Just to be with is the divine present even here.

Is the love available even here?

Um.

And just taking your time with that,

Letting that open,

Letting your heart open with remembering the presence that is always there.

But we don't always remember to witness,

To look for,

To experience,

To perceive.

Um.

And then the process of bringing something to the remembrance.

What we do is we let ourselves become aware.

You let yourself become aware of the thing that you want to bring to remembrance or bring into the space of remembrance.

It's really easy to think of it as,

Oh,

I want to know what to do so I'm asking,

Allah,

Allah,

Allah,

Tell me what to do.

Or,

Oh,

This feels so stuck.

Allah,

Allah,

Allah,

Heal it and clear it.

And both of those things can come through,

Guidance and healing,

But not by pushing directly there.

The healing and the guidance comes from experiencing a different reality.

So just taking your time and bringing yourself into the state of witnessing,

Whatever it is that you're wanting to have in remembrance with you.

Maybe it's a situation with a client or a situation with your income or something else that doesn't feel easy,

Feels challenging or stuck in some way.

A decision.

And this is where the discipline comes in.

This is where the strength and the ego can be used in a healthy way,

Which is to allow yourself to force yourself in a certain way to just be in that place.

You have a decision and you don't know what to do.

What is it like to be facing a decision and just saying,

I don't know what to do,

And to stop striving to go forward?

What is it like to be facing a situation and just saying,

I don't know how to solve this,

And to stop trying to solve it?

To allow yourself to just be present.

Unh.

Unh.

Um.

.

.

And as you're in that place of not deciding,

Not doing,

Not changing,

Surrendering into that,

And then asking,

Is love available even here?

Is the divine present even here,

Even in facing this decision and not knowing what to do,

Which way to go,

Even in this challenge that feels so heavy and stuck and yet so important to solve?

Um.

.

.

And then just remembering that the divine is present here,

Asking to be shown in the presence of the divine,

Asking to be shown the presence of love here as well.

Um.

.

.

Often the hardest part,

The part that takes the most time,

Is really just settling into that.

Being in the unknown,

Being into the surrender that you can't solve it,

And resting into that long enough to be able to maybe start to witness the presence of the divine here.

Um.

.

.

Letting go even more,

Letting yourself drop even more deeply into this spot.

Um.

.

.

Um.

.

.

Um.

.

.

And as you're with this decision,

Situation,

In this context of divine love,

In this presence,

In this witnessing,

In this remembering,

What do you notice?

What do you notice?

What is it that's being asked for?

What is it that's being shown?

What is it that you want to give?

Maybe even asking what is the question?

Is there even a question?

Is there even a question?

What is your heart needing here?

I'm just asking for whatever it is that you're needing in this place.

And that is not going to be I need the guidance,

I need the answer,

I need the thing,

I need the healing.

Those are all outcomes that may arrive,

But what is it that your heart is needing in itself?

What is it that the heart of your business is needing in this spot?

That is maybe completely unrelated to the thing that you're struggling with or what you think you need?

What quality?

What is it that the divine wants to give you here?

Letting yourself be willing to be surprised and just asking.

Unbelievable.

Beautiful.

You can take a lot more time with this,

Both in the asking and in the perceiving,

And also in the receiving of what is shown.

And in this moment just let yourself feel any authentic gratitude or appreciation or anything that did come through.

Letting yourself express that to the divine.
