Welcome to this five minute body love meditation,
A powerful practice that connects us to loving our imperfectly perfect selves just as we are in this moment.
By drawing our attention to our innermost self we find a source of inner peace and acceptance.
Negative thoughts gently diminish as we gain this peace required to move forward with grace.
And so to begin this practice we'll start by finding a comfortable seat or a lying down position,
Making any minor adjustments to allow yourself to feel comfortable and then slowly allowing your eyes to close.
And then we'll begin our practice by placing one hand on our belly,
One hand on our heart and then just connecting to our breath.
Taking those nice deep inhales starting from the base of the belly,
Working your way up through the rib cage and the chest.
Slightly pausing at the top of the inhale and then slowly exhaling.
And so we'll take three more nice deep breaths,
Inhaling and exhaling.
Feeling your hands on your heart and your belly and then just noticing any judgment that may come up for you and just allowing yourself to release that judgment through your exhale.
And so we're going to be going over six affirmations that are going to allow ourselves to connect to our body and change the patterns of our mind to allow ourselves to love our body exactly as it is in this moment.
And so as we read each affirmation just allowing yourself to connect to the statement and if you find yourself feeling any judgment just slowly trying to release that judgment through your exhale.
Allowing yourself to exhale all the things that no longer serve you and breathing in those affirmations connecting yourself to loving your imperfectly perfect self.
So inhaling I feel strong and confident in my body.
Exhaling any judgment and then inhaling my body radiates beautiful kindness.
Exhaling any judgment that comes up.
Inhaling I love my body because it makes me special and unique.
Exhaling any judgment or negativity that comes up.
Inhaling my heart is courageous kind and loving.
Exhaling all the thoughts that come up that no longer serve you.
Inhaling I enjoy the feeling of feeling good about my body.
And exhaling releasing any judgment.
Inhaling I am grateful for my body.
I want to treat it with love and respect.
Exhaling any judgment that comes up for you.
And so now just scanning our body from the crown of our head down to the soles of our feet.
Noticing how your body feels.
Noticing how your breath feels.
Connecting to the body.
Connecting to the breath.
Imagining as if we'll inhale a bright green light and allow that green light which connects us to our heart chakra to allow ourselves to fully embrace ourselves,
Our bodies.
Just allowing that green light to fill our bodies.
Sending love to all parts of our body allowing ourselves to feel content and loved by ourself.
And so as we near the end of our meditation I'll invite you to repeat this to yourself silently.
I love my imperfectly perfect self just as I am in this moment.
And so just enjoy this moment of sending yourself some love,
Sending your body some love.
Then you can slowly allow yourself to bring your awareness back to the room.
Bringing some gentle movement back to your body.
And then from here we can slowly allow our eyes to open.
And knowing that we have this powerful tool to send ourselves body love at any time we need it.
