Please bring yourself into a seated position where you can remain comfortable for the next 15 minutes.
And as you become settled,
Take a few soothing and smooth breaths in and out,
And then bring your awareness to the space between your eyebrows.
And for the next six breaths,
We'll draw awareness in from all directions.
So on your next inhale,
You'll draw awareness in from in front of you.
And then on the exhale,
You'll soften at that space between your eyebrows.
And then inhale,
Draw awareness in from behind you.
Exhale,
Soften at the space of your forehead.
And then continue for four more breaths,
Drawing awareness in from the left,
From the right,
From above and below.
Now feeling more centered and ready to begin meditation.
With that,
Please move awareness to the base of your spine.
And remember a time when you were among the trees,
Walking on the land.
Place this memory at the base of your spine.
And as you're feeling this imagery come to life,
Feel a sense of timelessness,
Of patience,
Perhaps also hearing the sound LAM,
LAM,
LAM.
From here,
Slowly move your awareness to the space in front of your sacrum.
And remember a time when you were near water,
Potentially a roaring ocean or a soft babbling creek.
Place that imagery,
That memory,
The space of your sacrum and feel the gracefulness that comes with water and a deep ease of being.
And on the water,
Hear the sound VAM,
VAM,
VAM.
Begin to transition your awareness up to the space of your navel.
And recall a time when you were staring,
Mesmerized by fire.
Place this memory at your navel center and feel how as you stare into the flames,
There's this kind of concentration.
And that concentration begins to stir action.
And here,
Crackling on the flames,
The sound RAM,
RAM.
Slowly move your awareness up to the space of your heart.
Remember a time when you were watching the trees move in the wind.
Place that memory there at your heart.
And as that imagery comes to life,
Feel a great sense of relief,
Of freedom.
And on the wind,
Hear the sound YAM,
YAM,
YAM.
From here,
Transition your awareness up to the space of your throat.
Recall a time where you were gazing up at the stars,
Gazing at the moon.
Place that imagery at your throat center and feel a profound sense of wonder,
Of possibility.
Hearing the sound HUM,
Softly transition awareness to your forehead,
To your third eye space.
Here,
There are no actions,
No memories to recall.
This is the point of origin for each of these elements.
And in that space,
We feel stithi,
Unsurpassed calm.
Hearing the sound OM,
OM,
OM,
Softly transition your awareness to the crown of your head.
This is the space where your potential lives.
All of your potential not yet taken root.
Here,
There's one long continuous OM and then silence.
Move your awareness back down to the space of your third eye,
Stithi.
Move your awareness to the space of your throat,
The imprint of your memories,
Still very vivid.
All of that space,
All of that possibility and hope,
Softly move awareness to your heart.
The residue of the trees moving in the wind,
That great sense of relief.
Transitioning awareness to your navel center,
The imprint of fire,
How it inspires action.
Softly move awareness back to the space of your sacrum.
Seeing,
Feeling that sense of water,
That grace,
That ease of being.
Slowly transition your awareness to the base of your spine,
Where you're on the earth,
Among the trees,
Time standing still.
And then take in your entire body,
Understanding now that you're not simply remembering these elements,
But that these elements are a part of you.
And with that,
There's a greater understanding of who you are.
And we'll sit in silence for one minute with this new knowledge,
Comfortable with who you are.
Please bring awareness back into your breath.
Take at least three soothing breaths and come back when you're ready.
Thank you.
