So this meditation is called the Beautiful Every Day.
It's from our Mindfully Happy Morning series,
Although it can be done at any time of the day.
And this little meditation is here to set you up to be open to all the wonders that await you.
Becoming comfortable,
Resting the eyes down,
Allowing the shoulders to drop down and relax,
Just tuning in now,
Tuning into your breathing,
Tuning into how you feel.
Tuning into the sensation of breath entering the body and leaving the body again.
Breathing,
Just being,
Drawing the breath down into a deeper breath now,
Allowing more air to fill the lungs.
Relaxing the hands,
Opening,
Comfortable and relaxed.
With these bigger,
Deeper breaths,
Allowing the breath to travel down all the way through the body,
Touching the lower part of the body,
The feet and the ankles and the legs,
The knees,
The thighs and buttocks.
Moving into the lower parts of the torso and the lower back and the abdomen.
Breathing,
Breathing into the upper back now.
Breathing into your chest and your heart,
Allowing the breath to open the heart.
I enter this new day with an open heart.
I will allow myself to luxuriate in its little pleasures,
To be aware of the glimmers of joy that surround me in the beautiful every day.
Breathing,
With gentle awareness,
I will watch my thoughts.
When I find that I've wandered into the stories of my mind,
I'll find my way back again into the reality of now.
The mind may wander as it does,
But breathing now into sensation,
Into sight,
Into smell,
Into taste,
Into touch.
I am guided into what is real in this moment.
Opening now to the breath.
Opening now to sensation in the body.
Opening now to sight behind the eyes.
Heightening awareness of smell and taste to the touch of any fabrics or the breeze against your skin.
Opening to what is real in this moment.
Breathing,
Feeling,
Seeing things as they really are.
Breathing,
Everywhere little glimmers of joy.
Breathing,
Feeling,
Luxuriating in the little pleasures,
Seeing things as they really are in the beautiful every day.
I am guided into what is real in this moment.
