Hello everyone.

I'm glad to see all of you here today as we take some time to focus on affirmations.

I'm sure many of you heard about affirmations but today we'll look closely what they mean,

Why they work and how to use them in our lives to make positive changes.

Affirmations,

Simply put,

Are statements we say to ourselves that shape how we see ourselves,

Our lives and the world.

These statements are not just words,

They are tools that help us shift our minds,

Our beliefs and,

Ultimately,

Our lives.

But first,

Let me ask,

Have you ever caught yourself saying negative things to yourself?

Maybe something like,

I am not good enough,

Or I always fail.

These thoughts might seem small but they have a huge impact on how we live.

The truth is,

What we say to ourselves on a daily basis has a big influence on our emotions,

Actions and even our future.

This is where affirmations come in.

When we choose positive statements and repeat them consistently,

We begin to change the story we tell ourselves.

Instead of letting doubt or fear take control,

We create new uplifting stories that empower us.

Now,

Let's talk a bit about how affirmations work.

Think of affirmations as seeds.

When you plant a seed in the soil,

You don't expect it to grow into a tree overnight.

You water it,

Give it sunlight and let it grow over time.

Affirmations are like that.

The more you say them,

The more you give them your focus and energy,

The stronger they grow in your mind.

Why is this so powerful?

It's because our minds are like sponges.

They absorb the thoughts and beliefs we feed them.

When we tell ourselves positive things like,

I am strong,

I am capable,

Or I am at peace,

Our minds begin to believe them.

And when we believe something,

It becomes easier to act in alignment with that belief.

Imagine this.

If you start your day saying,

I am full of energy and ready to face any challenge,

Your mind picks up on that energy.

You begin to approach your day with confidence,

Knowing that no matter what happens,

You have the strength to handle it.

Compare that to waking up and thinking,

Today is going to be hard.

Right away you feel weighed down.

That's the difference affirmations can make.

So how do we create affirmations that work for us?

It's important to make them personal and specific to what we need.

For example,

If you're looking for peace,

You can say,

I am calm.

I am at peace with myself.

If you want to build confidence,

You can say,

I trust in my abilities and my wisdom.

One key thing to remember is that affirmations should always be positive.

Instead of saying,

I won't fail.

Try saying,

I succeed in all I do.

Focus on what you want to happen,

Not on what you're trying to avoid.

Let's take a moment now.

Think about what you want in life.

What do you want to feel more of?

Maybe it's love.

Maybe it's joy.

Maybe it's confidence.

Take a few seconds and imagine what that would feel like.

Once you have that feeling in mind,

Let's turn it into an affirmation.

For example,

If you want more love,

You could say,

I am worthy of love and I welcome it into my life.

If you're seeking success,

You could say,

Success flows to me with ease.

Let's say a few together and I encourage you to speak them out loud.

I am full of peace.

I am strong and healthy.

I am kind to myself.

Take a deep breath after saying these.

Feel the weight of the words.

These are not just statements.

They are truths that we are allowing ourselves to believe.

Now,

Let's talk about when and how to use affirmations.

A good time to say your affirmations is first thing in the morning as soon as you wake up.

By doing this,

You set a positive tone for the rest of the day.

It's like telling your mind,

This is how I choose to live today.

Another great time to say affirmations is just before you go to sleep.

At night,

When your mind is quiet,

It's easier for your affirmations to sink in as you drift off to sleep.

Let your affirmations guide your dreams shaping your subconscious mind.

You can also write your affirmations down on a piece of paper.

Your affirmations guide your dreams shaping your subconscious mind.

You can also write your affirmations down.

Keep them somewhere you'll see them often.

On your mirror,

On your phone screen,

Or even in a journal.

The more you see them,

The more they'll become part of your daily life.

Consistency is key.

The more you practice affirmations,

The more natural they will feel.

At first,

It might feel strange to say things like,

I'm enough,

Or I'm powerful.

That's okay.

Over time,

These words will start to feel like the truth because they are the truth.

Affirmations are not about pretending life is perfect.

They are about shifting our focus.

When life feels tough,

Affirmations help us focus on what's possible instead of what's wrong.

They remind us of our strength,

Our value,

And our ability to overcome challenges.

Now,

Let's dive into a deeper practice.

I want you to think of three affirmations that resonate with you.

These should be statements that feel right for your current situation.

Take your time and choose words that reflect what you need most right now.

Once you have your affirmations,

Write them down or say them out loud.

Feel their energy as you speak them.

These are your words of power,

Your guideposts,

And your journey ahead.

As you begin using affirmations in your daily life,

Remember that they work best when you approach them with patience and trust.

Affirmations are a slow,

Steady practice.

You may not notice changes right away,

But over time,

The positive shifts will come.

Keep faith in the process.

Affirmations are like waves.

They may start small,

But with time and repetition,

They build up,

Becoming stronger and more impactful.

Even on tough days,

Continue speaking them.

Let them lift you,

Even if just a little,

And guide you through the challenges.

To close,

I invite you to reflect on the power of your words.

The words we speak to ourselves shape our reality.

Choose them wisely and let them be full of hope,

Strength,

And possibility.

By using affirmations,

You are not just saying words.

You are choosing to see the best in yourself and your life.

Thank you for being here today,

And I encourage you to continue using affirmations to unlock the greatness within you.

Speak your truth,

Believe in it,

And watch as your life begins to transform in wonderful ways.
