We live in a world that makes us constantly question our own worthiness as we compare ourselves to many others and try to live up to other people's expectations of who we are supposed to be. Tune into this meditation to remind yourself of your inherent self-worth, something that we were all born with but may have lost sight of along the way. Hello,

And thank you for joining me in this guided meditation on worthiness.

My name is Juana and I'm honored to guide you on your journey towards building more self-worth.

Please go ahead and find yourself a comfortable position,

Seated or laying down,

That allows for easy,

Clear breathing.

Take a moment to just land here fully by tuning into your breath.

Feel the rhythm of your breath as it dances in and out through your nose.

Let go of whatever came before this,

And anything that you need to do after can wait.

You are worthy of taking this time to reconnect with yourself.

Go ahead and count to three with every breath in,

And count back down from three with every breath out.

So inhale,

One,

Two,

Three.

Exhale,

Three,

Two,

One.

There's no pause in the middle,

Just a continuous,

Smooth breath.

So in,

One,

Two,

Three,

Out,

Three,

Two,

One.

Keep it going on your own.

If your mind wanders off,

Just bring it back to your count.

That's what the count is here for,

After all,

To anchor you to your breath in this present moment.

You can now let go of the count.

Count and just flow at your own pace.

Bask in your own divine presence in the here and now.

You deserve a break from the outside world.

You must fill your own cup first before you can give to others.

Remind yourself that you are worthy of taking this time out for yourself.

Remind yourself that worthiness is not something you are assigned with by the outside world.

Worthiness is something you are born with.

A baby is not born unworthy and then has to prove its worth.

Any loving parent will tell you that their baby is the most incredible,

Perfect gift on this planet.

But somewhere along the way of growing up,

Whether from society or from media,

Family and even friends,

We have been taught that we are unworthy and must therefore continue to strive to prove ourselves.

Losing sight that we have really been worthy all along.

It's only our misperception that blocks us from seeing our birth right.

Isn't it a bit ridiculous to believe that someone has to pronounce you worthy in order for you to feel good about yourself?

Unfortunately,

Many of us live this way.

This is an inside job and it is something you accomplish through your thoughts,

Not your actions.

You don't feel unworthy because of what is happening to you.

You feel unworthy because of your inner dialogue.

So let's take some time to redirect that dialogue.

As you rest in this state of peace,

Bring to mind qualities and things you love or appreciate about yourself.

If you have trouble coming up with them,

Start small or general and allow them to build momentum.

For example,

I appreciate how my body keeps me alive.

I love my ability to connect with others.

I appreciate that I am here taking time for myself.

I love you.

You were born worthy and you will always be worthy.

Anyone that tries to tell you otherwise is just disconnected from who they truly are.

You didn't come here to prove yourself to anyone or anything.

Take some time to really rest in that knowing.

And if it feels right for you,

Silently affirm,

I am worthy in all ways.

And so it is.

It's now time to transition out of your meditation.

So begin to feel the support of the ground beneath,

Anchoring you to the here and now.

Bringing slow,

Gentle movements back into your body as you awaken.

You have been and will always be worthy.

So don't allow all that outside noise to silence the knowing within.
