Hello and welcome to my Insight Timer channel.
My name is Pablo Arellano,
For those of you that don't know me.
Today I wanted to do an insight on the importance of meditation.
So,
I'm 55 years old,
So I learned to meditate when I was 24.
A little bit younger I had an experience with the Brahma Kumari.
We went to a center of the Brahma Kumari,
Where they have a picture of just light,
Emerging light.
And we sat there and started to look at the light.
And it was a nice experience,
But still I felt a little bit distant to the experience of the inner peace,
Because I had to look outside of myself.
So,
Years later I met Ishaya Monk,
Which is a teaching that comes from India.
And they taught me these mantras.
And that was very beautiful,
Because I started to create an experience from within me.
And this really was a big change for me,
Because the emanation of peace from within,
It's really like a magic tool to engage the world in a different way.
And because outside we have all this stimuli pulling us away from ourselves,
When you start the mantra,
It helps you,
Pulls you inside.
And if you continue with the mantra for a long time,
A long period,
It becomes a habit to be within yourself.
This sounds strange in the way that everything is within yourself,
Because we live in this society that creates all these stimuli to buy things.
We're all the time being overstimulated to be with our attention in the outside.
So I meditated with this method of the Ishaya for many years.
And I think about 13 years ago,
I had the idea because I read in the Bible,
Well,
In the Torah,
I read,
I am what I am.
And then I said,
Well,
This is very powerful mantra,
I am what I am.
And from there,
I had a little bit of inspiration to create my own method of meditation,
Which is based on the I am.
And from that I am stems all the infinite possibilities of how you can create a mantra.
And for example,
I use a lot,
I am a divine contemplation.
I am infinite peace.
I am the observer of thought.
I am bliss.
So this type of mantras help me also to focus myself in my inner peace.
But also I can modulate the frequency of the mantra to serve my needs of the moment.
And from there,
Keep having meaning in the words and go inward.
But also having that inward experience serving my outer world.
So this was a very great expansion from the Ishaya way of meditation.
I think meditation is one of the most important tools that we need today in the world to find this inner peace,
The core inner peace.
So humanity can really continue its journey through its evolution.
I mean,
It's a tool that has been created a long time ago.
I think it's more than 6,
000 years old.
But still,
Because it's a tool that goes to the core of what we are,
Which is consciousness.
And that consciousness,
Its home is the stillness and the field of awareness.
So these techniques come from the origin of life and origin of consciousness.
They are embedded in our DNA.
So I encourage you to find a tool for meditation.
If you like a little bit what I'm talking about,
You can obviously take one of my workshops here in my profile.
And start changing your experience from too much stimuli outside to an infinite field of peace within you.
And from that,
Observe the outer world as a learning field and not a suffering field.
You know,
We engage in so many emotions during the day.
But if you're anchored in the peace,
Much less hurtful ride during your day to have this peace and awareness fulfill you.
And from there,
Engage in the outer world in a different frequency.
And well,
That's my insight today in the importance of meditation.
Maybe you can start with the mantra,
I am peace.
Or I am divine love.
Or I am bliss and compassion.
I am bliss.
So have fun with the mantra.
Try to do it 15 minutes in the morning and 15 minutes in the night before sleep.
And also during your day.
And every time you remember,
Just repeat it gently in your mind's eye.
Go deep within.
Enjoy life from another frequency.
I will leave you with a little bit of music.
So you meditate with some of the mantras I suggested.
Blessings.
