Be brave and treat each food thought as if it is a wave on the ocean,

Coming and going,

Rising and falling,

Then fading back into the great vast ocean.

It is safe to ride the wave of a food thought,

Being with it without taking any action.

It is okay.

You are okay.

You will be okay.

Be brave and leave leftovers.

It is safe to leave leftovers.

It is okay to leave leftovers.

No one will eat them.

Nothing will happen.

They will still be there when your body is hungry again.

Be brave and not eat the whole jar,

Bag,

Can,

Package,

Or box.

It is safe to close it up,

Put it away,

And save it for later.

It is okay to save some for later.

Be brave and don't stop at the store.

It is safe to drive by it,

Knowing you have adequate food at home that will nourish and satiate your body.
