Lisa Hughes

In 2006, I was a mother of 3 children under 6, with a career as a Head of Dept for a global multinational who on the surface looked like she had it all. Underneath I was running to stand still and challenged to cope with the pressures in my life. This is when my coach introduced me to a daily practice that allowed me to create some space in the hectic life I was living. Space where I could get clear about what I wanted from life and work about how I wanted to show up in the world. I’ve been practising consistently since then and continue to experience the benefits on a daily basis. Qualified in both MBSR (Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction) and Finding Peace in a Frantic World, Lisa also has a certificate in Teaching Mindfulness in the Workplace from the Oxford Mindfulness Centre. She teaches meditation and yin yoga at The Yogahub in Camden St. If you want to find out more for yourself click on courses.

I have been working with my therapist on using mindfulness to help manage very complex and difficult emotions, which has been very difficult for me to grasp. This certainly helped. Thank you and blessings.

Thank you! It's a very helpful technique to label the emotions which are arising and to return back to the breath. Namaste!
