In this guided meditation you are invited into a relaxed state of awareness while focusing the mind as an observer. You will be invited to notice thoughts without judgement, allowing your mental activity to drift like clouds in the sky. You will be reminded with the idea that your mind is a tool ~ not the self ~ and can be accessed or calmed at will. Become the master of your mind.

Welcome back,

Today we tune into the mind,

Not to control it,

But to befriend it,

To soften it.

So I invite you here to find your seat or lie down,

Close your eyes and come into stillness.

Take a slow breath in through the nose,

And then part the lips,

Let it go.

With each breath,

Allow yourself to arrive more fully,

In through the nose,

Out through the lips.

Let your breath become an anchor,

A gentle rhythm that draws you into presence,

Into this present moment.

So let your breath move in and out of the nose at a pace that helps you slow down,

Become more present,

And notice,

Thoughts may come,

And that's okay.

Simply imagine them as a cloud floating across a vast sky,

Watch them come and go without attachment,

And simply witness them floating across the sky.

Now gently place a hand over your heart,

And with every inhale,

In your mind or out loud,

Say to yourself,

I am,

With every exhale,

I,

Emitting beliefs that have been taking up space in your mind,

Bring them forward.

Now imagine yourself lovingly dissolving them,

For you are not your thoughts,

You are simply the observer,

The soul behind them.

There's an opportunity to invite in new affirmations,

Such as,

I am,

Let these new thoughts fill the space,

Breathe them in,

Let it become the inner voice of your inner best friend.

Notice if any of those old thought patterns still have a grip or a hold,

In the space of your heart,

Offer them gratitude and love,

For at one point in your life,

They kept you safe.

They're no longer necessary,

For you are safe,

You are clear,

You are,

And let those positive new affirmations take the leading role in your thoughts,

And in your mind.

I am deserving,

My mind is a powerful ally.

Notice the rise and the fall of your chest,

Perhaps the rise and the fall of your belly,

And as we close,

Notice any spaciousness that you've created,

The mind doesn't need to be silenced,

Only softened,

Gently begin to move your body,

Your toes,

And fingers,

And ankles,

And wrists,

Bring your awareness back into the room that you're in,

Remembering,

You can always return to this space.

Welcome,

Namaste.

Background music is a little distracting, but I loved your words. Thank you..
