Explore MeditationAs a therapist and mindfulnes instructor, I strive to empower individuals to be in tune with their deepest truths and to relate to life in a more authentic way. By providing a warm and accepting environment, I hope my clients feel safe to express what matters to them. My approach is strongly influenced by more than 10 years of dedicated mindfulness practice, including zen monastic training. Through such practices, I have come to understand the value of becoming curious about our present mental state. I believe paying close attention to our experience is fundamental in developing emotional resiliency. Thus, I utilize mindfulness and somatic approaches in supporting people to become more aware of their thoughts, feelings, and body sensations. In doing so, I trust that our ability to welcome our experience creates possibilities for healing and being emotionally stronger. I have over 5 years of experience working in recovery settings with people of different ages, ethnic backgrounds, religious affiliations, socioeconomic statuses, sexual orientations, and various mental health conditions. I welcome people from all walks of life, and have worked with a wide range of clients.
