This meditation is perfect for when you feel really tense throughout the day and you want to reach for sugar or caffeine or just want to hide in your room.
So this is perfect to reconnect and realign with your purpose and your desires.
So make yourself as comfortably as possible.
You can do this lying down or sitting up.
Gently let your present moment awareness shift to the most dominant sound that you can hear right now.
Let yourself fully immerse in that sound.
Gently bring your awareness to the most dominant smell that is present right now.
And then see if you can practice noticing both the dominant smell and the dominant sound at the same time.
Wonderful.
Now bring your present moment awareness to the most dominant sensation in your body.
See if you can stay non-judgmental.
Just let yourself experience whatever you're experiencing,
Bringing curiosity to the physical sensation.
Without judging or evaluating,
Analyzing,
The sensation immerse yourself fully into it.
Now see if you can practice noticing the sensation and the dominant smell and the dominant sound all at once.
Savouring and drinking in this moment fully.
When you're ready,
Bring your awareness to the most dominant taste in your mouth.
Notice any subtleties in your mouth without judgment or evaluation or criticism.
Let yourself fully immerse in the taste in your mouth.
Now practice experiencing more of this moment by zooming out and noticing the dominant smell,
Sensation in your body,
Sound and taste in your mouth.
Now please bring 100% of your present moment awareness to the most dominant visual stimulus that is present right now.
With your eyes closed,
Notice any colours or images that are flashing behind your eyelids.
Let yourself experience whatever you're experiencing without resistance,
Attachment or judgment.
Immerse yourself fully in the visual sensation.
Now see if you can zoom out and notice this present moment with all of your senses.
Sight,
Smell,
Taste,
Feel and sound.
Notice the rush of fresh vitality,
Energy and clarity that comes from aligning with the present moment again.
And give yourself three deep full breaths,
Cleansing and clearing with every exhale any tension that may have built up through your breath.
And if you like silently or out loud declare,
I'm back.
May you move through the rest of your day with joy and ease,
Energy and clarity.
