Details

Our annual advanced retreat – an experience designed for those who are ready to explore the depths of their inner life, reimagine their next chapter, and reconnect with their sense of purpose and possibility. Set against the stunning backdrop of Asheville, North Carolina, and the Great Smoky Mountains, this retreat invites you to take a courageous pause from the chaos of everyday life and intentionally turn inward. Together, we’ll create space to reflect on where you’ve been, where you are, and where you’re called to go next. From the lush landscapes of the Biltmore Estate to the peaceful beauty of the North Carolina Arboretum, our retreat begins with inspiration drawn from Asheville’s gardens, mountains, and creative energy. The second half of the week takes us deeper into nature, hiking parts of the Appalachian Trail, visiting waterfalls, and witnessing expansive vistas from Kuwohi, one of the highest points east of the Mississippi. These sacred natural settings offer the perfect container for soulful inquiry and gentle challenge. This retreat is rooted in purposeful living and courageous reflection. It integrates the powerful frameworks of the Center for Courage & Renewal, Brené Brown’s Daring Way™, and insights from modern thought leaders in wellbeing, leadership, and meaningful living. You’ll explore your roles as a leader, healer, or helper—whether in your profession, your family, or your community—and how to show up more fully in those roles without losing yourself in the process. We intentionally design this retreat for those who are no longer new to the personal development journey. Participants should either be alumni of previous Bounce Travels retreats or have experience in other inner work or self-discovery practices. This allows us to go deeper, faster, and with greater trust. There will be time each day for solo reflection, journaling, movement, and meaningful conversations with fellow travelers on the path. And while we don’t promise breakthroughs on cue, we do create the conditions for them to emerge organically.

Testimonials

info

I came on this retreat to help deal with some job-related burnout and depression. What I didn't know is that I would walk away feeling like a more whole, hopeful human being. This week is challenging and inspiring, and to learn alongside other humans who are thoughtful, compassionate, and committed to growth is powerful. The bonds you create with your cohort are really unparalleled--and happen over just a week's time. The sessions are a lot of work, but they are structured so that the daily excursions help you process the work. As an introvert whose brain saturates easily, I felt that this retreat was well-paced and worth every penny! If you are in a position of care, service, or authority (If you're human--you very likely fall into one of those categories.), your work and relationships will benefit from this experience!

This retreat was hugely transformational for me. It was my third Bounce Retreat and it really helped me accelerate the work I have been doing for years. I always say it is like years of therapy in a week. The special group of people that come together to help each other navigate big issues with so much compassion and love, is really amazing. The magic that is created by the facilitators through their helpful information and ability to hold space for each of us to process things at our own pace is truly incredible. I also really appreciate the balance of intense realizations and shifts in perspective with uproarious laughter. This is a really fun time and also super productive; the best way I can spend my free time. Looking forward to the next one.

This retreat was truly transformational. I didn’t really know what I signed up for, but I am so grateful I did! The week was emotionally, physically, and mentally exhausting. I cried every day. But it was SO worth it and I am a different (and better) person having gone through it! It has brought clarity to several issues I have been struggling with for years. It has given me direction, purpose, and motivation to go back home and make significant changes in my life. I have met some amazing people whom even after just a week together, I now consider close friends. The facilitators pushed and challenged us with loving support the whole way through. I would recommend this retreat to anyone feeling a little lost or needing something more from life. You won’t regret it!!
