Details

Sometimes, retreating may just allow you to breathe, pause, and acknowledge, accept, and honour who you are. Sometimes you may be carrying the seed of a creative process or project which you want to attend to at multiple levels. Or maybe you feel out of balance and need time to find your feet, to make a shift of a nature that is not yet clear to you. Perhaps you just need a break and a quiet weekend of meditation, meaningful workshops and time outside of your normal life.. If this is you, you are very welcome to come along ready to embody the voyage of discovery that is the Heroine’s Journey, with movement, reflection, powerful tools of change and resolution, meditation, daily yoga. During this Retreat you will be supported and energised through a focused guided journey, to assimilate, clear space, and revitalised with direction for your next chapters. It is uniquely structured around The Hero's Journey, adapted to recognised the experience of women. Within the structure, we will integrate the concept of the five rhythms, after Gabrielle Roth, to create an holistic experience. This complementary integration is directly inspired through the Leaders's learning with Robert Dilts and Debra Bacon Dilts, first adapted by the Retreat leader in her course Dancing to the Rhythm of Your Crone. The pattern of the Retreat is one which Jan Russell is well known for, offering a grounded structure with flexibility, creativity and support. You will experience practices which provide both practical tools, and spiritual freedoms. A unique highlight will be the opportunity on the second day to work with Guest Tutor Keziah Gibbons in her 'Comfortable in Her Skin' experiential workshop, based around story of the Selkie Woman, she who comes from the sea as a seal, and dances on the shoreline to the light of the shimmering moon. At the beginning of her adventures, as night ends and the first sun's rays strike the beach, she finds her skin is gone, and she cannot return to her seal self. Thus begins the Selkie Woman's adventures as she searches for her skin. You can expect deep exploration, perhaps some discomfort, a necessary release and a magical, powerful Becoming as you realise your own true nature and the meaning that weaves through your whole life. There is nothing like an opportunity to be in a woman only environment in support and spirit, to take time out of the everyday to share, discover and celebrate, collectively and individually. The Heroine's Journey is very much your life's path in a way which brings release, celebration, and future pacing. You will love this Retreat if you are drawn to being in a women only environment to discover and rediscover meaning from your life path, to enfold you in your now and co-create your own future.

I have worked with Jan twice now and I'm not exaggerating when I say both experiences were life changing, what I have taken away has helped me astronomically both personally and professionally. She is a master at what she does and is a joy to learn from, excellent teacher.
