Hello and welcome to a five minute sensory meditation connecting you with all of your senses and bringing you present settling into a comfortable seated or lying down position noticing the surface that is beneath you supporting you bringing your awareness to your breath as you naturally breathe noticing the chest as it rises with each inhale and lowers with each exhale noticing the sounds that are around you and even noticing the silence what do you see?

Bringing your awareness to the sights in half gaze or even with eyes closed what colors do you see?

Which shapes?

Bringing your awareness to the smells that are around you and even the thoughts as they roll in just acknowledge them give yourself a smile for acknowledging that you had a thought and then let it be and let it go with the breath how does the skin feel?

It may be cold maybe warm maybe you feel tingles bringing the awareness to the mouth and the taste feeling better to relax relax to feel better feeling with each exhale the shoulders drop the face relax the jaw unclench feeling the mind relax bringing your awareness back to the sounds even the sound of my voice not the words but more the tone being aware of the thoughts and again just give your thoughts a smile acknowledge them and then release them bringing the palms of the hands together at the chest offering yourself wisdom and compassion today bringing the hands up between the brow and taking in a nice breath for four and as you exhale spread the hands and give yourself a nice face massage thank you for joining me for this five minute sensory meditation may you be well may you be happy may you be safe and may you be loved
