Good morning,

Gentle souls.

I will be reciting a poem I've written called Your Leaves of Doubt.

We will reflect on the poem's meaning and then together complete a short meditation.

Take a deep breath in.

Let that go.

Take another deep breath in and let that go.

Just relax.

Let your leaves of doubt fall free,

Golden whispers from the tree.

Once they clung in fear and shade,

Now they drift where winds are made.

Branches are bare and roots run deep.

Trust in all that Mother Earth will keep.

Shed the weight,

Let new buds grow.

In the quiet,

You will know.

The poem,

Leaves of Doubt,

Speaks to the process of letting go of doubt and fear using the metaphor of autumn leaves falling from a tree.

Now here's a closer look at each part.

Let your leaves of doubt fall free,

Golden whispers from the tree.

This suggests releasing your doubts,

Described as leaves,

Allowing them to gently fall away.

The golden whispers reflect the beauty in letting go.

Just as autumn leaves are golden and vibrant when they fall,

Doubts can be released in a way that feels freeing and natural.

Once they clung in fear and shade,

Now they drift where winds are made.

Doubts and fears may have once felt deeply rooted,

Creating a shadow over the mind,

But now they're being let go,

Drifting freely on the wind,

Suggesting a shift from being burdened by doubts to finding freedom in releasing them.

Branches are bare and roots run deep.

Trust in all that Mother Earth will keep.

Here the tree has shed its leaves and stands bare,

Symbolizing the vulnerability and openness.

The deep roots reflect a strong foundation,

Trusting in oneself in the natural process of growth and change,

Despite letting go.

Shed the weight,

Let new buds grow.

In the quiet,

You will know.

By releasing doubt,

We make room for new growth and insight.

This quiet space allows for clarity,

Suggesting that in letting go,

We can gain a deeper understanding of our inner peace.

Gently close your eyes,

Now take a deep breath in through your nose.

Take another long,

Slow,

Deep breath in,

And slowly let that go.

Are you like a leaf floating in the wind?

Do your branches feel free?

The mantra we'll be repeating is Moksha,

A Sanskrit word for freedom from eternal cycle of life,

Death,

And rebirth,

Or simply emotional freedom.

Feel free to place a hand or hands on your heart.

Repeat silently after me,

Moksha,

Moksha,

Moksha.

Take a deep breath in and release.

Take a deep breath in and release.

Keep silently repeating Moksha,

And don't worry if your mind begins to drift.

Just gently come back to the mantra.

Now watch the time,

Moksha,

Moksha.

Set gently with your eyes closed,

Take a deep breath in,

And let that go.

Take another deep breath in,

And let that go.

Let your leaves of doubt fall free,

Golden whispers from the tree.

Once they clung in fear and shade,

Now they drift where winds are made.

Branches are bare and roots run deep,

Trust in all the Mother Earth will keep.

Shut the weight,

Let new buds grow,

In the quiet you will know.

You can open your eyes and have a little stretch.

Stretch your arms like the branches on a tree.

Wiggle your fingers like the leaves fluttering in the wind.

How do you feel?

The poem reflects on the process of releasing fear and doubt to find clarity,

Trust,

And new beginnings.

It suggests that by letting go,

We allow space for renewal and deeper connection to ourselves and the world around us.

See you next time.
