Our autonomic nervous system is unconscious and happens without our awareness. The sympathetic (fight/flight) and parasympathetic (rest/digest) networks are involuntarily reacting to our external environment and thoughts. When our nervous system isn’t regulating or in balance, we can experience chronic stress and discomforts like anxiety or depression. This is a tool I regularly use to strengthen my ability to create calm and contentment in my mind and body, helping me regulate my nervous system
