Meditation to release and restore.
Imagine yourself lying deep in the forest,
Lying on the ground.
The earth is covered with soft dark green moss.
It's warm and soft.
So you are lying there as if on a luxurious bed.
Take a deep breath in and with the exhale relax your shoulders.
Deep breath in,
Exhale relax your head,
Your forehead.
Inhale in,
Exhale release your jaw and your neck.
Inhale in,
Exhale release your whole upper body.
Continue breathing deeply in your own rhythm with every exhale consciously relaxing a part of your body all the way down to your legs to your feet until you feel that you are fully relaxed,
Your whole body soft and you feel yourself sinking into the surface below.
Your breath has naturally deepened.
With the inhale you're expanding your belly.
With the exhale just naturally releasing the air out of your body.
Now we'll do a short review of your day.
So bring your memory to the moment that you woke up and then just in your mind go through all the events in your day and every thought,
Every event,
Every situation,
Every person that arose in you a sense of stress,
Anxiety or unease of any kind.
Bring this in,
You're bringing this situation into your mind.
Take a deep breath and release.
Breathe this stress out of your system.
You can breathe out through your mouth every little thing.
Maybe it was just the traffic in the morning or you were too late to have breakfast,
You were rushing to a meeting,
You heard someone complaining on your way to work,
Maybe you had a misunderstanding with somebody or you were just annoyed by watching the news.
Whatever it was today that affected you,
Let it go.
Release everything that is not yours.
Take the power back to you.
You can pause here and continue with the release until you feel that everything,
All the energy that is not yours and you have taken on,
You have that released.
And with every breath you are releasing that out of your body,
Out of your system and giving it to the earth.
The earth underneath you is absorbing this energy,
It's taking it in and it's doing its alchemy.
It's transforming all this energy,
All this charge,
All the burdens,
All these things that you have,
Just let go.
It's transforming it into fuel,
Into nutrients,
Like a rich compost that is there for your growth.
Energy cannot be destroyed,
It can only be transformed from one form into another.
So now it's time to take back this transformed energy.
So think of what it is that you need most right now.
What kind of energy would you like to bring into your body,
Into your system?
Is it health,
Vitality,
Peace,
Calm?
Maybe you even see if you need water or nutrients.
Maybe you need a bit more fire and warmth.
Maybe you need the coolness.
Whatever it is that you need,
Now start breathing it in,
Dragging it up from the earth,
Feeling how it's coming through your body,
Through your skin.
Everywhere where your skin is touching the earth,
It's absorbing this energy,
It's filling up your whole body,
Entering every cell of your being,
Breathing it in.
Inhale,
Pull this energy in your body.
With the exhale,
Allow it to spread until you feel your whole body immersed in this energy.
You might feel some tingling,
Some sensations,
Vibrations.
You might feel nothing at all,
It's completely fine as well.
Just know that this energy is now entering your body,
Only the things that you need.
You can bring your lips into a smile,
Acknowledging this process,
Acknowledging your body,
Its intelligence,
Acknowledging mother earth,
Acknowledging all the resources you have available at all times.
Now continue breathing and soaking in this energy for as long as you want.
Take your time to really rest,
Restore.
So again,
If you need more time here,
Just go ahead and pause this recording.
If you're ready to slowly come up,
Just start bringing some movement into your body,
Wiggling your toes,
Your fingers,
Rolling your wrists and your ankles,
Stretching your legs and your arms,
Lifting your arms above your head,
Stretching the sides of your body,
Rolling to one side of your body into a fetal position.
Stay here for a breath or two,
Again feeling how you are always nurtured,
How you are always supported.
Everything you need is always here for you.
And then slowly and gently,
Lifting yourself up to a seated position,
Keeping your eyes closed for a few more moments,
Bringing your palms on your chest,
Over your heart space,
Breathing in deeply,
Lifting your chest up,
Expanding your heart space,
And now continue with your day or drift off into your sleep.
Thank you.
