Welcome to Living a Life of Gratitude.
I'm Sarah Wiseman.
There is only one entrance.
The soul is fully aware as it begins its transition.
It's conscious,
It's cognizant,
And most of all it's excited.
It's brimming with plans,
Places to go,
People to see in this new lifetime it's about to enter.
It can't wait to get some more soul lessons under its belt,
To revisit with those souls it already knows so well,
To take that grand ride together once again.
It can't wait to get started on its to-do list for this next lifetime.
Bursting with excitement,
The soul straps on its landing gear and starts the tremendous path to inhabiting a body.
It's tiny for a while,
Its whole world,
Nothing more than heartbeat and warm fluid.
Then it gets bigger and space gets more crowded and muffled sounds come in from somewhere and it turns and kicks in excitement to get out,
Get started.
But the soul,
Eager as it is,
Is still prudent.
It uses its last months in the womb to review what it has learned in the past lifetime.
The soul lessons it learned,
The soul lessons it failed to learn,
The people it needs to fix karma with,
The people from whom it needs to learn.
It's so exciting,
The soul knows,
To have all this knowledge and to burst forth into the world with all this remembrance and to finally make it right,
This lifetime.
One day the soul realizes that birth is imminent.
Its body has flipped upside down,
Its head being pulled toward gravity.
There is contracting and pushing and bearing down.
There is the long descent down a dark tunnel,
A heading toward the white light.
The soul takes one last minute to collect its thoughts to ensure remembering everything upon emergence.
And then suddenly,
Unexpectedly,
There is a great final push and the soul is out into the white light,
Born of a human body,
A baby covered in blood and mucus being swaddled and held to its mother.
The baby lets out its first cry,
Not because it is too cold or because the lights are too glaring after all those months of darkness as we have been led to believe.
No,
The baby lets out its first cry because it realizes that it has forgotten everything it ever knew.
It's all been left behind,
The soul lessons,
The destiny,
The grand plans,
The karma,
The consciousness,
The awareness,
The understanding that all is one,
All divine universe love.
It's all been forgotten in this momentous transition from untethered soul to soul incarnate in the act of birthing into this world as it is with every baby being birthed into the world.
The soul must learn it all again,
Comforted by mother,
Father,
Beings it cannot yet remember.
The soul once again begins its journey of experiencing life as divine being in earth body.
It will take an entire lifetime to remember what it has forgotten.
It will take an entire lifetime to learn what it already knows.
And thus the journey of soul growth continues.
