Today we're talking about saying farewell.
Saying farewell.
The person you are is not the person you were.
We are always changing and our companions on the soul path are changing too.
You'll walk through life with many souls,
The right soul showing up at the right moment.
When it is time to journey together,
Journey.
When it is time to part ways,
Be grateful for what you've learned.
If you can,
Go in peace,
The universe.
We are always moving through times in our lives,
Different passages,
That really end up changing us dramatically.
Some of the more common places is maybe you finish high school for example and then you're a different person after high school.
You're a different person who goes out to the world to work or who continues on to college,
Whatever you're doing,
Or who travels.
The person you became is not the person you were.
Or say you were single and then you ended up moving in with a partner.
Maybe you even got married or you just started living with someone long term.
So the person you were,
The single person,
Is not the same as the person in partnership because now you're in a relationship that is shifting you and changing you.
Or maybe you get a degree and you work really hard on getting that degree and you learn a lot of stuff and you have a lot of training and the person you were doesn't exist anymore,
You're a new person now.
Or maybe you come through a really,
Really big trauma.
A lot of these people have near death experiences.
It changes them permanently.
A lot of people who have accidents or illness,
It changes them permanently.
It changes their world view permanently.
The person they are is not the person they were.
And the other thing that happens is as you change,
And change is just how things are,
As you change,
The people around you,
Well not just the people around you,
Everything around you,
The environment around you,
You begin to shift and change and move.
You'll walk through life with many souls,
The right soul showing up at the right moment.
Now some of you out there might have the same friends you had when you were little,
Like four or five or six,
The same friends you started school with.
And that's pretty awesome,
But most of us have really different soul companions at different times of our lives.
So we might be in relationship to our school friends.
We might be in relationship to our work friends.
We might be in relationship to our,
You know,
Any love relationships we have to our family members if we start our own families.
And not just that,
But as you'll notice,
Even the so-called random souls that we meet,
Those change too.
You might have gone to a particular store for years and years,
And there was a particular staff,
And then one day that staff,
You know,
They retire,
They change jobs,
And they're not there.
So that person that you were having that daily interaction with isn't there anymore.
Somebody else takes their place.
You get used to that soul.
So this idea of walking through life with many souls,
The right soul showing up at the right moment,
When it's time to journey together,
Journey.
When it's time to part ways,
Be grateful for what you've learned.
This happens in human world.
It happens in animal world.
We have animals that are with us for significant passages of time.
When we're through with that passage,
It's very common for an animal to pass away.
You know,
An animal sticks with us through our divorce or sticks with us through a big passage of our life.
It's one of the markers that things are changing.
It's also true for those of you who work with the guides,
Which I certainly hope you are.
It's common for our guide group to change.
Perhaps not all of our guides,
Perhaps not our earth guide.
That guide tends to say pretty consistent,
But it's common for other guides to shift and change as we enter into understanding or as we are ready for different levels of teaching.
New guides will show up for you in meditation.
I always find this a thrilling thing.
It doesn't happen often,
So when it does happen and you begin to notice a new guide,
It's pretty exciting.
You can really pay attention.
For example,
A number of years ago,
I was working with two pale,
Tall beings who I continue to work with,
But during meditation,
I began to receive from Merlin as a guide,
Which was pretty weird because I never really thought about Merlin or I didn't have any Celtic or Druidry style of awareness necessarily,
And yet there was Merlin,
And Merlin was my guide for many,
Many years,
One of my main guides and taught me a lot about how to travel in the etheric realms,
How to work with energy,
Which I've as quickly as I learn it,
I pass it on to you guys.
Currently,
I also have a new guide.
I'm not going to talk too much about it yet because I'm just getting to figure out who this is,
So as you notice in your own meditative journeys,
That field isn't static either.
When it's time to journey together,
Journey when it's time to part ways,
Be grateful for what you've learned.
If you can,
Go in peace.
If you can,
Go in peace.
The more you can wrap up or have compassion for or come to peacefulness with all relationships in your life,
And especially all of those you can see that there will be a parting of ways on the path of life,
If you can go in peace,
And I'll leave that to you to consider who in your life that might apply to right now.
Sometimes going in peace is as simple as bringing peace into your own heart.
It's not necessarily about having to make amends physically or with contact with that person.
Sometimes bringing this peace into your own heart and holding that peace for that person is all that it takes to come to a good place in that relationship,
A beautiful way of saying farewell.
