If your body feels tired but your mind feels loud…you’re not alone. Tonight, we are not fighting the storm. We are inviting Jesus into it. Settle in and allow the Lord to minister to your soul and lead you into a peaceful sleep. Photo by Zoltan Tasi, Unsplashed Music by Narek Mirzaei

If your body feels tired,

But your mind feels loud,

You're not alone.

Tonight,

We're not going to fight the storm.

We are inviting Jesus into it.

So,

Breathe in slowly and exhale with relief.

Again,

In and out.

Whisper softly,

Jesus,

Be here.

In Biblical Scripture,

Mark 4.

39 says Jesus spoke to the wind and the waves,

Peace,

Be still.

Let those words become personal.

Peace,

Be still in my thoughts.

Peace,

Be still in my chest.

Peace,

Be still in my mind.

Peace,

Be still in my body.

Peace,

Be still in my emotions.

Peace,

Be still in my perceptions.

Imagine your mind as water,

Not to judge it,

Just to notice it.

If it feels choppy,

That's okay.

Now,

See Jesus near,

Steady,

Calm,

Present,

And you hear him speak,

Not just to the storm,

But to you,

I'm here,

You're safe,

Rest now.

Now,

Inhale,

Peace,

And exhale,

Be still,

Inhale,

Jesus is here,

Exhale,

I release.

You don't have to keep watch anymore.

God is holding everything for you.

Peace,

Be still.

Peace,

Be still.

Peace,

Be still.

Peace,

Be still.

Peace,

Be still.

Good night,

My friend.

The storm is not stronger than the Savior.

Be still in my thoughts.
