Hello friends.
This is a mini practice on devotedly abiding in the silent presence of the heart.
Here we focus on enlivening the spiritual or the sacred heart so that we can rest in it.
Presence in the spiritual heart is like feeling warm rays of sunshine filling and emanating from your heart center.
This presence might be gentle or powerful or very quiet.
There's nothing you need to make happen here.
Just rest into the experience.
So rest your attention in the quiet presence in and around your heart area.
No need to grasp at anything or try to make anything happen.
Allow your awareness to drop down into the heart,
Letting your senses become gentle and quiet and feel the subtle sunshine of presence emanating from the spiritual or the sacred heart as you offer it your attention,
Your time,
Your devotion for these few minutes.
No need to try to force anything.
Simply giving your attention to your heart as a humble offering of love and devotion.
Letting the quality of your love and devotion,
Your sincerity to be very fine,
Very intentional,
Bringing a kind of pure,
Sincere quality to your devotion,
Focusing here not on anything you hope to receive,
Simply on the quality of your offering of attention to your heart,
Offering your attention to the subtle feel of presence in and around the heart.
And each time you return your attention to the heart,
Do it as an offering,
An act of devotion because you're giving your two most prized gifts,
Your time and your attention to the presence of the spiritual heart,
The sacred heart that connects us all.
In offering your heart,
Your attention,
You are giving a deeply meaningful gift,
Deeply intentional,
Nothing rote or mechanical here.
And after a few minutes of this attention to your heart,
Look around you.
Look from this heart center and notice how the heart perceives whatever you see.
Observe the world through the eyes of silence,
Through the soft glow of presence in the heart.
And notice how different your experience is when you see from this perspective,
From the presence that is grounded in the sacred heart.
And throughout your day,
Invite yourself to perceive,
To live from the silent presence of the heart as often as you can,
Knowing that you will not do it perfectly.
We're not about perfection here.
It's enough to simply be sincere,
To invite yourself to perceive the world through the eyes of your heart,
Through the presence that abides there and enjoy.
Be well,
My friend.
