It's Cyrus.
Welcome to this special sleep talk down meditation where I'm going to speak to you in soothing tones and say soothing things that will have you sleeping more deeply than you thought possible.
So if that sounds good,
Just set up your space in a way that's conducive to deep and easy sleep.
And crawl into bed in a way that feels comfy and cozy.
Get warm and toasty.
And find a position that feels effortless and easeful as you allow your body to sprawl out in whatever way feels restful.
And then take a gentle easy look around at your surroundings.
Notice that you're safe and it's safe to let go and close your eyes when you feel ready.
And take a slow effortless deep breath in through the nose.
Fill up your lungs with delicious oxygen.
And then let yourself take a big billowing sigh out through the mouth like you're letting go of any first waves of tension.
And now guide the breath a little deeper down on this next inhalation.
Breathe down towards your knees.
Really start to feel your breath moving like a wave down and then back up slowly on the exhale.
Beautiful.
And now one last super slow deep breath all the way down to the toes.
Feel it saturate every cell of your body as you breathe deep down and slowly breathe out through the mouth in slow motion.
And feel the effects as your breath returns to normal of having deepened and slowed your cadence of breath.
Feel the echoes of the oxygen that have found their way into the crevices of your body.
And feel yourself already shifting into a looser and more relaxed way of being.
Notice any strands of energy or emotion that are still lingering from your day as long as you can handle them without judgment.
Just notice what's still hanging out.
And just allow them to float to the surface of your body.
If they're not too much for now,
Just give them a moment to be felt and breathe so you don't have to take them into the dreamscape with you.
Just notice where you feel them in your body.
Let go of thoughts and just go into the energy of the remaining whispers of feeling and feel your way through them as you breathe and flow with them,
Allowing them to move through like a wave.
Notice how the less you fight any of your feelings,
The more effortlessly they pass through,
The more you tend to relax and release any inner resistance.
And notice how the more and the longer you simply embrace and feel,
The more they can unstick themselves from your system and begin to evaporate out into the atmosphere from whence they came.
No need to carry that with you anymore.
Just feel yourself becoming looser and lighter with every effortless exhalation.
Notice any thoughts that are floating around on the layer of your mind and begin to notice and let go of them.
Each thought,
Each sentence,
Each image,
Just notice and then let it float and dissolve away into space.
There's no rush,
Just enjoying the act of seeing what's going on in your mental landscape and then enjoyably,
Casually saying sayonara to each of them.
As you let go of each thought,
As if you're letting go of a helium balloon,
Just feel yourself becoming more spacious,
More steeped in awareness,
In the gap between each thought.
And as you let go of those balloon thoughts,
Just feel yourself pleasantly,
Pleasurably grounded to the earth,
Feeling your body supremely heavy as it magnetizes effortlessly to the support underneath you.
Feel all remaining tensions melting into the support underneath you as the heaviness usurps it from your body.
And as that tension evaporates,
Feel yourself becoming blissfully light,
Like a feather floating in the gentlest summer breeze,
Dappled in the warmth of the summer sun as you bask blissfully in that lightness.
Feel yourself grounded and light,
Heavy and floating,
And yet curiously free of tension as you embody both in an effortless balance.
Let your attention dance smoothly now with precision as you move to the top of your head,
And to your right ear,
To your right shoulder,
And your right elbow,
To the right palm of your hand,
And your right hip,
Your right knee,
And your right ankle,
The right sole of your foot,
And crossing over to the left sole of your foot,
Letting go of thoughts and dancing in an effortless rhythm to your left ankle,
Left knee,
Left hip,
Left palm of your hand,
Left elbow,
Left shoulder,
Left ear,
Top of your head,
Your eyes,
Your nose,
Your jaw,
Your throat,
Your chest,
Your stomach,
Your pelvis,
Your tailbone,
Your quad muscles on the front of your thighs,
Your shins,
Your calf muscles,
And your hamstrings,
Your tailbone,
And lower back,
Your upper back,
And the back of your neck,
The back of your head,
The whole back of your body,
The whole front of your body,
Your whole body,
In and out,
Head to toe,
All the little dancing sensations of buzzing and life energy,
Head to toe,
Any little bits of left over tension,
Breathing gently,
And letting it flow out without even trying,
With each effortless breath in,
Feel yourself infused with calming energy,
And with each breath out,
Relax deeper than you thought possible,
With each breath in,
Feel yourself letting go of all content,
And each breath out,
Letting go,
Even deeper,
Head to toe,
Blissfully savoring the energy of your body,
In all its tingling aliveness,
Feel it merging with the life energy of all the space around you,
At your pace,
Just expanding and merging pleasantly with everything around you,
Feeling yourself get higher and higher as you float easily in that space of perfect grounded aliveness,
It's safe to let go of all thoughts,
Of all past and future,
It's safe to be deeply in this moment,
In an effortless way,
You can allow yourself to melt and soften and open more and more with each passing moment,
All thoughts can be released into the vastness of infused affinity,
You can rest in the vastness of this space you've created,
You don't have to hang on to anything here,
You can completely let go now,
All the bracing and the holding and the anticipating can be released in this dimension of deep rest,
You can go deeper than your mind thinks you can,
You can let go more than your mind thinks is possible,
Into deeper layers of relaxation than you even knew existed,
There's nothing to do,
There's nowhere to be,
You can let go of the last moment and the next moment and drop deeper into the infinite verticality of right here,
Right now,
You can savor the bliss of just being as you are,
Already more than enough as you are,
Radiating and overflowing with your inherent wholeness,
As you feel the delectable nature of your own existence,
Deepening into a sense of thorough restfulness,
The only thing you have to worry about is letting go of whatever comes up at your pace,
And there's no rush,
You don't even need to do a good job at it,
You can just let go however you like,
However you want to,
Just investigate the body slowly and sweetly and see if there's any little bits of tension that can be softened with a gentle opening of awareness,
Feel yourself melting into the fluid ocean of total softness and open awareness,
The supple relaxation that occurs as you become one with everything,
Supported by everything,
Buoyed by everything,
As you let go into a trust fall with the universe,
It's safe to let go on an even deeper level now,
All the strands of the mind can fall away,
All the whispers of the body can quiet into gradual stillness and silence,
Feel your nervous system shifting into a gear where it can absorb the deepest levels of rest,
The ground floor of deep slow delta waviness,
Effortless stillness as you simply exist in the river of one moment to the next,
Feel yourself trusting this state of depth,
Of stillness,
Of effortless ease that takes care of itself as you let go of needing to do anything and I suggest just maintaining a gentle awareness of that rhythm of letting go of whatever arises and relaxing back into that ocean of effortless relaxation and allowing it to carry you into that sea of loving rest at its own pace,
