Welcome everyone.
This is our Chakra series that we're doing.
We're working with the Heart Chakra today and the color is green.
So the Heart Chakra is called Anahata and Anahata means unstruck.
The Heart Chakra from a physical standpoint is at the center of our heart and it's associated with our lungs,
Our chest and our shoulders.
The Anahata Chakra is also associated with air.
So we've been working with the different elements in the chakras and on a more spiritual or emotional level,
The Heart Chakra,
When it's balanced,
We feel harmonious,
We feel compassion,
Joy,
We experience beauty,
Unconditional love and when it is unbalanced or let's say it's maybe deficient,
We feel a sense of isolation even maybe pushing people away.
It's difficult to have close relationships.
We might feel a sense of attachment or a desperate need for love and if it's overstimulated,
The Heart Chakra is overstimulated,
We might even experience hatred,
Maybe even the need for revenge,
Negativity,
Self-loathing and difficult to forgive,
So holding grudges.
So you may or may not have identified with any of those and as we move into today's practice,
Certainly there may be some things that arise that show up for you that you didn't know were there and our seed syllable is Yam,
Y-A-M and the note,
The musical note for the Heart Chakra is the F sound and my husband was so gracious a number of years ago,
He bought me a crystal bowl with the F note for the Heart Chakra.
So I'm so excited to play this for you today.
So go ahead and find a seat,
Get comfortable and we're invoking the color like a spring green color,
The word Yam,
The seed syllable,
The Bijja,
Yam,
So get comfortable and let your breath find you.
So let the sound,
The vibration begin to permeate.
Let your breath soften the edges of your heart.
Let your breath soften on the inhalation and the exhalation.
Allow the doors of your heart to open,
To let love in and to let love out.
Allow the breath to move in you and the places in your heart that have hardened,
Releasing those grudges,
Welcoming in forgiveness,
Little by little the breath flowing in to permeate into the cracks and crevices in your heart to be healed.
And see the color green radiating from your heart center.
Feel the sweetness of your breath flowing into this space,
Into your heart center.
Breathing in the sweetness of life,
Breathing in the beauty of life,
Breathing in the kindness of a stranger,
The kindness of a loved one,
And touch of yourself or of a loved one.
Feel the love and the green radiate and arise within your being from this heart space.
Let the breath flow in to soften,
To find acceptance and to release criticism,
Judgments,
And love.
Let the breath flow in to receive generosity.
Let the breath flow out to remove hatred.
Continue allowing the breath to soften those hardened edges of your heart to let the green brilliant luminosity of vitality and life unite from your being as we transform common place into sublime and balance our chakra so that we may love all beings at all times and every deed.
And as Rumi once wrote,
Your task is not to seek for love,
But merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.
Your task is not to seek for love,
But merely to seek and find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.
Your task is not to seek for love,
But merely to seek and to find all the barriers within yourself that you have built against it.
Feeling yourself radiating with green vitality of unconditional love.
I am light.
I am love.
I am compassionate.
I love unconditionally.
I am light.
I am love.
I love unconditionally.
I am light.
I am love.
I love unconditionally.
Continue to experience the glow of this Anahata heart chakra radiating from the center of your being.
If your eyes were closed,
I invite you to open them.
Take a deep breath in,
Relaxing those shoulders down.
Maybe a little bit of movement in the fingers and maybe the head.
Well,
Thank you all so much.
Be well.
Namaste.
