Welcoming you to this morning guided meditation.

I'm Chantal Vander Hagen and I've created this meditation for you with the attention of you being able to set the tone for your day.

The purpose is to allow yourself to take a moment before you get into the busyness of your day.

So when you're ready remaining comfortable just enjoying the sensations of waking up the stillness feeling a wonderful sense of gratitude excitement for this beautiful new day breathing in peace breathing in calm feeling the sensation of each breath that you take how it supports you how it supports your body your life and your day bring a beautiful smile to your face enjoying this peace and quiet that you've created for yourself hearing and feeling the day awakening becoming slowly aware of the noises of the day being aware of the humming of everyday life as it comes alive breathing in and enjoying this sense of calm breathing out releasing easing yourself into the day at the moment letting go of all the things you need to do and purely being present with the now in between the quiet of the dawn and the start of the day you may like to now in your mind's eye imagine what you have been grateful for giving thanks to people situations anything that comes to mind even those small smiles that you've received unexpectedly and give thanks it's such a wonderful way to start your day off on a positive note filling your heart with love gratitude breathing in gratitude breathing out gratitude gently softly and effortlessly appreciating this time this time you're giving yourself to ease your way into your day taking the time to prepare for whatever may come plan or unplanned start asking yourselves the following questions as you scan your body and getting a sense of how do they make you feel what is it I want to achieve today what am I excited about for today what am I going to most enjoy today smiling as you do so knowing that smile on your face is full of pure joy and what are you committed today to doing for yourself your body soon tells you what you need to do and where you need to let go so for the next few moments just tuning into your body how is it feeling it's really contracted you're feeling stressed feeling expansive you've got a beautiful day ahead that is in flow and that no matter what happens you know you'll be able to come back to your breath this moment of peace and quiet to bring you back into the moment just keep checking with yourself making sure that what you want to achieve and do is realistic asking yourself what can you do what can you put into place so you can achieve what you have planned some ideas are you might like to turn your mobile off for a while remember to make sure that you stop for a moment and to and take a breath saying no to something unexpected that turns up no matter how irresistible just saying not this time thank you not today just keep checking in to see what suits you what is you need to do to enjoy your day can you change an appointment can you postpone something if you can't what can you do to support yourself so just gently breathing this in and breathing out any anxiety intention you may be feeling enjoying this quiet time it's time for reflection appreciating this morning ritual that you've created that you can look forward to each and every day giving yourself this time in the morning to prepare yourself for whatever it is you need setting your intentions knowing and believing that you'll get through whatever you need to get through and being able to give thanks at the end of the day just gently scanning your body again releasing any residue tension truly enjoying this quiet time deep in stillness feeling one with your breath one with your body one with yourself at the moment all you need to do is inhale and exhale you'll just stay here for a few more moments enjoying the peace and calm and when you're ready just slowly and quietly bring yourself back into your room coming back to your natural breath becoming aware of your surrounds aware of the noises the noises of everyday life slowly opening your eyes giving yourself a small stretch knowing you're now ready for your day thank you for practicing with me I hope you have a wonderful day namaste
