Let's begin.
Find a comfortable position.
You may sit cross-legged on the floor or you may sit on a chair if that serves you better.
If you are sitting on a chair,
Have your feet firmly planted on the ground.
Place your hands on your lap,
Either palms facing up or facing down,
Whichever you prefer at this moment.
And if you prefer to lie down,
Go ahead and do that.
Soften your gaze and gently close your eyes.
Relax your face,
Relax your forehead.
Unclench your jaw.
Let go of your tongue.
Let your face breathe.
Feel your throat,
Your neck,
Your collarbones.
Feel your heart.
Listen to your heartbeat.
Feel your stomach,
Your sit bones,
Your legs and your toes.
Your physical body is a sacred gift that you've been given to experience this life.
Acknowledge that and send gratitude to every part of your body.
Take a soft breath in through your nose and sigh it out.
One more time,
Breathe in and let it out.
Let's journey together.
You are walking in a beautiful forest and you notice there is a white building with large windows.
It looks inviting.
So you walk toward it.
Go ahead and open the door.
You are walking into a beautiful art studio.
It's a bright open space with lots of natural light coming in.
You look around and you find an easel on the sunny corner of that room.
You feel inspired to walk toward it and then you notice that it has your name on it.
On the easel,
You find a blank canvas waiting to be painted.
Right next to the easel,
You see paints in every color imaginable and brushes in all sorts of shapes.
Everything is set up for you to paint.
You hesitate a little bit because you don't know exactly what you are going to paint.
But you look at the blank canvas and it's asking you to paint.
So you simply pick up a paintbrush and dab it into some colors and spread it onto the canvas.
There are no rules.
Nobody is telling you how to paint or what to paint.
You are free to choose any colors or brushes.
You are free to paint anything you want.
You've been painting for a little while and all of a sudden you hear a whisper coming from within yourself.
I wonder what the brush would do.
Maybe I want to try that new color.
You listen to the whisper and grab the new brush and try that new color.
What is being painted in front of your eyes is something you've never seen.
You are the one who is painting it and yet you feel like something is moving through you and your hand.
You let go of the control on the brush a little bit at each stroke.
And you let whatever that is moving through you paint on your behalf.
You've never felt this free.
You've never felt this light.
You've never felt this peaceful.
You feel like you are floating and at the same time you feel more grounded than ever.
And you feel this beautiful radiant energy flowing through your entire body.
You realize that you've been painting for quite some time now.
You put the brush on the table and take a step back and look at the canvas.
The painting you see is so beautiful and so touching that you cannot believe that you are the one who painted it.
And the whisper comes back again and tells you,
You didn't paint this alone.
We were there working with you through you every brush stroke.
We painted this together and this is the same way we are there with you breathing through you every single moment.
We are co-creating what you call your life.
And if you think this painting is beautiful,
Take another step back and see how magnificent your life is turning out.
It already is a masterpiece just like this painting.
So go out of the studio and continue creating your beautiful life.
Don't be afraid of making mistakes.
If you want to try new things,
Go for it.
If you want to move to a new place,
Move.
If you want to meet new people,
Go out and meet them.
Use as many colors and brushes as you want.
There is no limit.
And remember,
You can always paint it over again and again.
There's nothing to be afraid of.
Notice the depth and the texture of your breath.
Slowly come back into your body.
And when you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
