Masako is a Japanese native and a longtime resident of the United States. During her career in legal industry, she started practicing mindfulness meditation in order to manage her stress. Having experienced a tremendous amount of benefits, she became a certified meditation teacher through CHILL Chicago, now known as CHILL Anywhere. In January 2022, she started her podcast, "Why not meditate?" with a mission to encourage anyone to try out meditation as an effective form of self-care. She enjoys visual art, and all the images you see on her thumbnails here are her own photography.
