Julie had her first encounter with yoga nidra in 2015. In awe of its ability to bring her home to herself, she felt called to study and share this transformative practice. As a certified iRest yoga nidra teacher, Julie creates space to explore your moment-to-moment experience with kind curiosity – gracefully remembering the truth of your wholeness. Weaving together her training in iRest, Mindful Schools, and Imagination Yoga, Julie offers practices for both adults and children. In 1:1 sessions, Julie supports you in meeting anxiety, overthinking, comparison, and doubt as messengers, creating space for your body’s innate wisdom to reveal itself. The dialogue is fluid and spacious, allowing you to welcome your experience from moment to moment. Julie acts as a sacred mirror, offering questions, prompts, or alternate perspectives as a way to welcome sensations, thoughts, and emotions more fully.
