There is so much we can learn from being present in the moment. It is difficult, I know, but we can take-in the moment. At the end of this meditation I share the following: 'I look to the past for lessons, not pain, regret or guilt. I look to the future for inspiration and possibility, not goals nor ambition. I live in the present with as much passion, compassion, kindness and awareness as I can. I try to be my own best friend not my worst enemy'. Nitin Sawhney, musician.

Welcome.

The power of now.

You attract and manifest whatever corresponds to your inner state.

Emotions arise in the place where your mind and body meet.

There's constant waves of thoughts,

Distractions.

And by being in the now,

We come to a sense of stillness.

We can celebrate life by completely being present.

To understand that each moment brings a great opportunity to practice being present.

And when we can,

We can move towards a sense of clarity.

Bring truth into our lives.

And really have a full and rich experience.

And to experience the power of now,

It is noisy.

We know that.

But we can practice.

We can make a point of making sure that we are connecting to the present moment.

And being truly aware of what is happening.

We know that we shouldn't worry about the future or regret the past but our minds,

We do.

There's no getting away from that.

But we can always come back.

Come back to that present moment,

To our breath,

To reconnect and focus in the now.

Because all we really have is the present,

The now.

And letting go of the past and not waiting for the future,

We can make the most of the now.

We can live more consciously and be aware of each moment.

And see it as a beautiful gift.

I believe in the power of now.

And to see that if we let go and be here in this moment,

That there is no past to dwell on.

There is no future to think of.

We are here right now.

Breathe in.

Breathe out.

Feel the power of now within you.

Your eyes are gently closed.

You feel comfortable.

You begin to notice your breath and the subtle changes in your body as you inhale and slowly exhale.

Feel the power of now in your heart.

In the muscles of your face as you relax.

And in your breath as you inhale,

Exhale.

Feel the power of now in your palms.

You believe in the power of now.

You allow the power of now to blossom,

To grow,

To shine.

As you allow the power to flow through you.

You're lost in the present.

You're living in the now.

You're feeling all that the present has to offer.

Your mind is at ease.

You are calm.

You believe in the power of now.

You're following each breath in,

Each breath out.
