Welcome to today's meditation.
Thank you for creating this space.
Inviting you when you're ready to find a comfortable seated position and to slowly either lower the gaze or close down the eyes.
Allowing yourself to center.
Allowing yourself to slow down.
Noting what energy,
What circumstance,
What potential desire brought you to this meditation.
To creating this space for yourself.
Thanking whatever stimulus got you here and allowing it to gently leave.
Knowing there is no fixed outcome to hold on to.
There's nothing you need to fix.
There's nothing you need to try and change.
This is simply a space to be.
And the core invitation for today's meditation is to allow ourselves to feel beyond language.
Inviting you in this moment to inquire how would I feel if I didn't know language.
The invitation here is to acknowledge that the mind,
The description of past,
The projection of future,
The narrative that can unfold,
The dialogue that can unravel in the present moment,
All takes place because of language.
We think in words.
And so the invitation here is to simply let go of words.
Not with force,
Not with the intellect,
But to simply allow ourselves to ease back in.
To relax into a space before words,
Beyond words.
To be with the mystery that unfolds with that.
Just to simply feel.
Nothing to describe,
Nothing to change,
Nothing to fix,
No one to be.
There is no next moment to wait for.
There is simply now.
This is an incredibly mysterious experience to feel beyond words.
It's like bathing in the unknown.
There's nothing to grab onto,
To make sense of,
But to simply feel and be.
Allowing yourself to drop deeper into this space.
If words arise,
That's okay.
Just allowing them to drift on by.
And inviting you to remind yourself of the invitation,
The prompt of how do I feel in this moment beyond words.
What is this moment beyond words?
Where is this moment beyond words?
How is this moment beyond words?
Crucially,
When is this moment beyond words?
Allowing yourself to experience the soundscape.
Sounds far,
Sounds near,
Beyond words.
Without describing them.
Simply hearing them as a musical score that will never happen again.
Going beyond language.
There is no need for language in this moment.
No need for any dialogue,
Conversations or descriptions.
Outwardly or inwardly.
Feeling the mystery,
The creativity of releasing language.
Noting any awareness of something larger,
Something bigger.
Bigger than this body,
This identity.
Feeling into a wider connection,
A wider union.
And there's no need to describe this with words.
Whatever is bigger,
Greater than.
Just allowing yourself to be within its presence.
To notice it is one and the same.
There is no need to search for anything,
No need to try and get to a certain feeling.
There's no need to perform.
Notice any performance anxiety.
There's no ideal outcome here.
Just allowing ourselves to be in the mystery of feeling beyond language.
Embracing the unknown,
The magic.
There is no need to psychoanalyze.
There's no need to try and make sense of this moment.
There is simply an invitation to be here.
And you'll notice I mention the word simply fairly often.
And there's a reason that we can often overcomplicate meditation,
Feeling,
Being.
Right now there is no specific technique or framework to hold on to.
There is just a very simple invitation to go beyond language.
Allowing the soul,
The being,
The spirit to dance in that mystery.
To be felt.
There is no ideas,
No ideology to hold on to.
Slowly inviting you to come back to the breath.
And to take three full deep breaths in through the nostrils.
Out slowly through the mouth.
And on the third and final exhale to open the eyes.
Thank you.
