Go ahead and find yourself in a comfortable position,
Seated,
Spine tall.
Take a deep breath in through your nose.
Exhale completely.
A couple more times,
Breathe deeply,
As deep as you can imagine.
When you feel as if you're full,
Sit just a little bit more.
Exhale completely.
Allow the eyes to close as you feel comfortable.
Hands rest.
Down on the lap or the knees.
Focus all of your attention on your breath.
And notice what it feels like to breathe.
Make a choice to settle yourself into this moment,
To relax and to release any held tension,
In order to make space for clarity,
Awareness,
The space from which understanding,
Wisdom,
Evolution can arise.
Perhaps you can feel the beat of your heart.
If that's true for you,
Sync the breath to the heartbeat.
You can even take your hand and place it on your heart.
Then you breathe in for maybe three or four beats of your heart and breathe out for the same amount or longer,
Not shorter.
Visualize,
Sense the purest feelings from your heart,
Peace,
Relaxation,
Of softness,
Of joy,
Riding on your breath,
Loving kindness,
Calmness.
The kind of feeling you get when someone that you love and care for very much soothes you in just the right way at just the right time.
A relieving feeling,
Taking shoes off that have been on too long,
Or resting in a comfortable chair after a long day's work.
Allow that feeling to ride on your breath,
From your heart outward in every direction.
Allow it to move at its own pace.
As it touches the areas of your body,
Feel an uncoiling of tension.
A sweet release,
Relaxation.
Allow that to move into the lungs and between each of the ribs.
Perhaps it feels warm.
Maybe for you it feels cool,
There's no right or wrong.
Just let it be a softening in the shoulders,
The belly,
In the space between the ribs and the shoulder blades,
Around the collarbones,
Through the neck,
In and through the bones of the spine,
Softening and releasing.
Effortlessly holding up the weight of your body,
Feel your upper arms relax,
Release any tension.
You may be holding through the belly and the hips.
Soften the pelvis,
Glutes.
Calm,
Peaceful feeling flowing to the back of the skull,
The crown of the head,
And back down around the ears,
The sides of the cheek,
The brow,
Feel the thighs,
The knees,
The calves,
The ankles.
Release and unwind.
The eyes,
The eyebrows,
The cheeks,
The mouth,
The throat,
Feet and the hands.
Take a scan of your body for any remaining pockets of tightness or tension.
Any holding,
And as you inhale,
Imagine that you're gathering all of that up.
Just gathering it up.
Draw it up into the heart space.
And with your exhale,
Allow it to flow down through the arms and drip out of your fingers.
Do that a few more times.
And then imagine with each breath,
You take your drawing in along with the breath,
A brilliant blue light,
And you're drawing in the breath.
And then as you exhale,
You're drawing in the breath,
And you're drawing in the breath,
And you're drawing in the breath,
And you're drawing in the breath,
A brilliant blue light,
A healing light.
Allow it to move through the nostrils,
To the lungs,
Travel on the blood,
From the heart to every single cell in the body.
Further softening,
Relaxing,
Cleansing,
Soothing at a cellular level until you're completely illuminated from the inside.
Vessel of light,
Clear,
At ease.
Call your intention into the space.
Attune yourself at rest to the callings of your heart,
Your soul.
There's a moment in your life,
Your soul.
If there's anyone or any place that you wish to offer a beam of light,
Do so now.
Offering this peace,
Calm and ease.
See them soothed,
Relaxed,
And cared for.
And then draw your energy back into yourself completely.
Not as a barrier to connection,
But as a making whole,
Claiming of the gift of your life with gratitude,
With grace.
And bring your hands to heart center.
And as the transition between this intentional stillness,
Being out in the world,
Moving about,
Taking actions,
Occurs,
We do so by offering peace and the vibration of the universe.
Om Shanti,
Shanti,
Shanti.
