Welcome to Be With Melinda,
A place for soul restoration and healing on all levels.
The level we are working on today is called Chaya.
This meditation is called Rooted in Shekhinah,
Ocean of Life.
Find a position that allows your whole body to rest easily.
Close your eyes.
Feel the breath rising and falling.
A gentle tide within you.
Chaya is the living current that flows through all creation.
The breath of Ruach,
Haolam,
The spirit of the world.
Inhale,
Sensing the breath filling your body.
Exhale,
Feeling that same breath merge into the greater field of life around you.
With each breath,
You are breathing in Kol Haolam,
The whole world.
Unlike Nefesh,
Ruach,
And Neshama,
Chaya is not confined within your body.
It extends beyond your skin.
An aura,
A living field of energy,
Reaching out in all directions.
In the tree of life,
Chaya streams from Keter,
The crown,
Down through the right and left channels,
Flowing freely into the space around you.
Feel it radiating outward from the crown of your head,
Your heart,
Your hands,
And your feet,
Connecting to every other living soul.
Imagine yourself at the edge of a luminous ocean.
The water glows with Shekhinah's light.
Step into the water with your inhale.
With your exhale,
Feel the ocean surround you.
Hold you.
Become you.
You are not separate.
You are a wave in the great Yam HaChayim,
The sea of life.
The Seferot's radiance in the ocean.
Above you,
Keter shines as the crown of divine will.
From it flows Chochmah,
Wisdom,
Like a river of light into every drop of the ocean.
Shekhinah moves in these waters,
Breathing life into every being.
She whispers,
Kol Chai Echad.
All life is one.
There is no distance between you and the source.
Rest in this knowing.
Let the waters carry you.
Silently or aloud,
Repeat after me.
I am part of the one life.
The breath in me is the breath in all.
Shekhinah flows through every being,
And I am home in her.
Bring awareness back into your body.
The hands,
The feet,
The breath in your chest.
Know that you remain part of the ocean,
Even as you walk upon the shore.
When you're ready,
Open your eyes.
You have returned from the Yam HaChayim,
The sea of life,
Carrying its unity and vitality into your day.
May you remember always,
Your life is woven into all life,
And all life flows from the one.
