Hi,

Frankie here,

And welcome to this short meditation to release the day.

Find yourself in your comfortable position,

Either seated or lying down.

Close your eyes.

Let's take a deep breath in together.

Let it out.

Let's take another one.

Releasing all tension,

Slowly exhaling.

One more.

Let go of anything you've been carrying throughout the day.

That's right.

Letting go of everything that has happened today.

Knowing this is a moment in time just for you.

Bring your awareness to your breath.

Feeling the gentle rise and fall of your chest.

With each inhale,

Imagine you're now breathing in calm energy.

With each exhale,

Visualize releasing the events of today.

Blowing them away.

Allowing them to drift away like the clouds drift in the sky.

You're letting go of any stress,

Lingering thoughts,

And you're allowing your body just to soften into the here and now.

Now with your gentle breaths,

Just notice the parts of your body that may still feel tense.

With your gentle breaths,

With each exhale,

Just consciously release those areas.

Perhaps breathing in to your shoulders and your neck and your back.

Letting them release.

Letting anything that's held from the day melt into relaxation.

Allow your mind to clear.

Just let the day drift and fade further into the distance with each breath.

Feel yourself become lighter and more at peace.

With each gentle breath,

You become closer and closer to a state of deep relaxation.

Free from the weight of the day,

You're becoming more and more relaxed.

You deserve this time to rest and restore.

I'm now going to say some affirmations,

And you can repeat them after me,

Or you can just let them be a relaxing shower for your nervous system.

I release all that no longer serves me.

I let go of the day with ease and grace.

I am free from stress and tension.

I welcome peace and relaxation into my body and mind.

I am at peace with myself in this moment.

And as we come to the end of this meditation,

Just take one more final deep breath in.

And let it go.

You have released the day.
