Welcome,

Let's begin by laying down in a comfortable space and taking three deep breaths.

Take a deep breath,

Feeling your lungs,

Heart and your belly and exhale gently,

Letting go.

Again,

Breathe in through your nose and breathe out everything you no longer need.

One more time,

Inhale and exhale,

Release.

Now imagine yourself lying on the surface of a gentle flowing river.

The water is warm and gentle and it holds you with complete care like the universe itself cradling you.

Let's begin to relax the body part by part,

Starting at the top of our head.

Bring your awareness to your scalp and your forehead,

Let them soften.

Feel the water beneath your head,

Lifting you,

Supporting your thoughts as they begin to melt away.

Now bring your awareness to your eyes,

Cheeks and jaw,

Release any tightness here.

Let your face rest completely,

The water gently laps against your skin.

Now bring your awareness to your neck,

Feel it lengthen and let go.

The river supports your throat and your voice,

Carrying away any words unspoken and any tension held.

Now soften your shoulders,

Let them sink into the current.

The water wraps around you like the arms of the universe,

Steady,

Present and always holding you.

Feel the wave of relaxation move down your arms,

Past your elbows,

To your wrists and to your hands.

Let your fingers float,

Weightless and free.

Bring your awareness to your chest and your heart center,

Breathe into this space.

Allow any heaviness to rise and be released,

The river receives it all.

Feel how the universe allows you to feel safe to let go.

Now bring your awareness to your belly and lower back,

Soften your core,

Let go of anything you've been holding on too tightly.

The water carries your burdens without any effort,

Because the current knows exactly where you're meant to go.

Feel the relaxation move through your hips,

Down into your thighs and knees,

Flowing into your calves and ankles.

And finally into your feet and toes.

Let them float,

Completely relaxed,

Completely supported,

Completely free.

You are now fully at ease,

Held in the arms of the river and carried by the universe itself.

Above you,

The sun glows into the sky,

A golden warmth shining down on you.

As you float,

Turn your face gently towards the radiant light,

Feel it warming your skin and giving you love.

The light begins to descend,

A soft golden glow that reaches towards you until it gently surrounds your entire body.

This golden light moves through you,

Cleansing and clearing you of anything that no longer serves you.

Memories,

Emotions,

Thoughts,

They rise to the surface like leaves and the river carries them away.

Allow the water and the light,

The earth and the heavens,

The river and the sun to support your release.

You're not alone in letting go,

You're never alone.

The universe flows with you,

The current leads you forward,

You are being carried to exactly where you were meant to be.

No pushing,

No forcing,

Just allowing and trusting.

Allow yourself to float in this union of water and light,

Of surrender and grace,

Of healing and peace.
