Come to lie down on your back.
Rest your head in a comfortable position so your neck completely softens and relaxes.
Bring your hands facing palms up and arms about 45 degrees from your body to release and soften your shoulders and arms,
And so your shoulder blades lay flat along the support beneath you.
Extend your legs and bring your feet wider than hip distance to release and soften your hips and legs.
Feel free to close your eyes and completely relax into the support beneath you.
Come to a stillness and bring your focus inward.
Draw your attention to the flow of your breath.
Notice how the breath flows into your body,
The gentle expansion of your abdomen filling up with air.
Be with it for the entire length of the inhale.
Notice how the breath flows out,
The gentle contraction of the abdomen and emptying of air.
Be with it for the entire length of the exhale.
Mindfully experience your breath.
I invite you to use the power of your imagination.
This process is different for everyone.
You may see things more visually,
Feel things more kinesthetically,
Or sense things in a more auditory manner.
Whatever you sense,
It is the perfect experience for you.
Allow whatever you experience to be your experience and allow it to unfold naturally.
Now in your mind's eye,

Or imagine that you are in a forest of tall trees.
Allow your inner senses to perceive it.
Notice the tall tree trunks rising from the earth,
Their branches,
And leaves.
Notice the vibrant colors of green and brown around you.
Look down from where you're standing and feel the texture of moss between your toes.
And smell the fresh,
Damp fragrance of the plants that surround you.
Whatever you perceive in your mind's eye is exactly as it is supposed to be.
Notice how serene the forest is and how you feel a sense of peace,
Calm,
And safety here.
Looking around,
You notice a clearing ahead and decide to walk towards it.
Really experience your journey through the forest.
Savor the sights of nature around you.
Smell the fresh,
Clean smells,
And hear the peaceful sounds of the birds and small animals that live here.
As you walk into the clearing,
The sun peeks out from the trees and brightens up the sky.
You feel the warmth of the sun on your skin,
Like putting on a warm t-shirt or like receiving a loving hug.
In this clearing is a calm and scenic lake.
A healing pool of transformation.
You notice that the lake is so smooth that it is like a mirror.
As you approach the edge of the lake,
You bend down and peer at your reflection in the water and give yourself a smile.
Standing back up,
You decide to dip your toe into the water.
And notice how soft and warm the water is.
You have a strong feeling to step inside.
Slowly you immerse yourself,
Inch by inch.
See or feel or imagine the healing warm water covering your feet,
Then your ankles,
Moving farther into the lake.
The water rises,
Warming and relaxing your thighs,
Your body becoming weightless in the water,
Immersing your hips,
Abdomen,
Back and chest,
Feeling relaxed and floating on your back,
Feeling completely nurtured and supported by the healing lake.
You feel safe enough to completely relax and release all tension.
All tension dissolves into the healing water.
Take some time here to focus and really experience the feeling of spaciousness and peace the healing warm water offers you.
With each inhale,
Take in nourishment,
Support and peace.
With each exhale,
Release all tension and discomfort in your body.
Let it be and let it go.
Release all tension and discomfort in your mind.
Let it be and let it go.
Allow the healing lake to dissolve all tension and discomfort.
Now bring to mind your positive qualities.
Your natural gifts and talents.
Strengths that you have developed.
The highest values and virtues you live by.
Even if thoughts of doubt,
Judgment or criticism enter into your mind,
Let them go and refocus on your positive qualities.
Imagine that you are expressing all your gifts and living by all your values.
Bring to mind all the qualities of the pure essence within you that is wise,
Loving and compassionate.
Embody all of these positive qualities.
Feel them in your body.
Perhaps you feel a warmth,
Calmness,
Wholeness or you may feel nothing at all.
Whatever it is,
It is exactly as it is supposed to be.
Stay with these positive qualities and linger here.
As you float in the healing lake,
It is transforming you into your best self.

Embody all of your positive qualities and linger here,
Floating in your magnificence,
Relaxed,
Calm and at ease.
Now that you've spent some time here in the healing water,
You've made an important step in transforming yourself into the magnificent being you are.
You've let go of all tension that holds you back and affirmed the self that expresses their gifts and talents,
Steps into their strength and truth,
And lives by their values and virtues.
You decide to come out of the lake and make your way back to shore and slowly come out of the water.
Notice the weight of your body as it leaves the water.
Notice,
However,
That you feel lighter in general.
You take one last look at the glassy healing lake and have the urge to bend down and peer at your reflection again.
Peering back at you is the smiling,
Loving face of your best self.
You give yourself a smile and know that you are your best self right now in the present.
You decide to walk back through the forest where your journey began.
Notice the tall tree trunks rising from the earth,
Their branches and leaves.
Notice the vibrant colors of green and brown around you.
Feel the texture of earth beneath your feet.
Smell the fresh,
Clean smells and hear the peaceful sounds of the forest.
Notice how serene the forest is and how you feel a sense of peace,
Calm and safety here.
Now that you have reached the place where your journey began,
You allow the image of the forest to fade.
It is time to bring your awareness back into the room.
Take three long,
Deep breaths and feel the gentle expansion of your abdomen on your inhale and the gentle contraction of your abdomen on the exhale.
Notice where your body contacts the support beneath you.
Bring some movement into your body and wiggle your fingers and toes and when you are ready,
Open your eyes,
Feeling peaceful,
Nourished and rested.
