Restorative journey.

We are inviting your whole being to transition into the profound,

Nourishing stillness of sleep.

We begin by softening,

Let every part of you know that the time for effort is complete and the time for simply being is beautifully present.

As you settle,

Imagine that the last light you perceived,

The quick,

Sharp glow,

Is being accepted and gently integrated by the magnificent core of the earth beneath you.

All the moving energy,

The swiftness,

The mental movement,

It is being received,

Effortlessly welcomed from your toes and fingertips into the slow,

Healing wisdom of the deep,

Quiet soil.

Now,

Bring your compassionate attention to your ears.

They have done a tremendous job processing the day's landscape of sounds and calls.

Imagine the sounds of the day receding with grace,

Leaving only a low,

Comforting hum,

The sound of your own essential presence.

Allow your inner ear to relax fully,

Listening only for the gentle,

Steady,

Internal rhythm of your heart.

We move deeper now,

Carried by a feeling of safety.

Imagine you are resting entirely supported on a cushion of ancient,

Verdant moss.

Above you,

The canopy is a blanket of profound,

Velvet darkness,

Dotted with soft,

Luminous stars.

You are perfectly secure here,

Surrounded by the ancient,

Slow coherence of the towering trees and the expansive night sky.

Feel the earth simply holding you,

Absorbing all your weight with ease.

This grove embodies only rest.

It breathes slow and deep.

On your next exhale,

Whisper the word,

Slow,

And as you inhale,

Affirm the word,

Safe.

Continue like this for a few moments.

Exhale,

Whisper the word,

Slow.

Inhale,

Affirm the word,

Safe.
