Welcome,

This moment is for you to pause,

To breathe,

To listen,

To arrive here,

Now,

Just as you are.

Compassion begins as a whisper in the heart,

A gentle remembering that you too are human.

It softens the edges of judgment and opens the door to understanding.

Like a quiet light in the dark,

Compassion invites you to meet yourself and the world with tenderness.

Closing your eyes now,

And allowing your breath to slow and become steady.

Breathing in and out through your nose,

Inhale,

Feeling your heart expand,

Exhale,

Allowing any tightness around it to release.

With every breath,

Allow the space behind your heart to soften,

The space that holds both your strength and your softness.

Breathing gently,

Allow these words to move with your breath.

Inhale open heart,

Exhale kindness.

Again,

Inhale open heart,

Exhale kindness.

Inhale open heart,

Exhale kindness.

Once more on your own.

And now,

Allow the words to fall away,

Nothing to repeat,

Nothing to reach for,

Only your breath,

Only this moment,

Resting here in compassion.

Noticing your breath again,

The gentle rise and fall,

Noticing your body resting here,

Offering some gentle movement,

Opening and closing your hands,

Releasing any remaining grasp,

Feeling the warmth that compassion leaves behind.

When you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Bringing compassion with you.

Compassion is the quiet practice of presence,

A kindness that begins within and ripples outward.

As you move through your day,

Remember,

Compassion meets you in every breath,

Every step,

Every moment.
