This chakra,
Located just above your navel,
Is associated with personal power,
Confidence,
And self-esteem.
By bringing awareness to this energy center,
We can work to restore harmony and balance.
Find a quiet and comfortable position where you won't be disturbed to sit or lie down with your spine straight but not rigid and your hands resting on your lap or to the side of your body with your palms facing upward.
Allow your eyes to close and take a few deep breaths to center yourself.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Allowing your abdomen to expand,
And then exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or stress.
Imagine a bright warm golden light just above your navel.
This is the energy center of your solar plexus chakra.
Visualize this light growing brighter and more vibrant with each breath you take,
Shining out from the front and back of your body.
Shift your attention to your breath.
Inhale slowly and deeply,
Counting to four,
And then exhale for a count of four.
Inhaling for four and exhaling for four.
Continue this rhythmic breathing,
Allowing it to become steady and calming.
As you breathe,
Think about your sense of self and personal power.
Reflect on your accomplishments and strengths.
Feel the confidence that comes from knowing your worth.
The bija or seed mantra for the solar plexus chakra is Ram.
As you continue to breathe deeply,
Silently or audibly chant Ram with each exhale.
Feel the sound resonating in your solar plexus area,
Cleansing and energizing it.
Imagine the golden light in your solar plexus chakra as a spinning wheel or vortex of energy,
Emanating out through the front and back of your body.
Visualize it rotating smoothly,
Radiating warmth and strength.
And with each inhalation,
Visualize the golden light expanding and becoming warmer.
If you have any self-doubt or negative thoughts,
Acknowledge them and then release them with each exhalation.
Let go of any emotional or energetic blockages that might be hindering your self-esteem.
Silently or aloud,
Repeat positive affirmations related to the solar plexus chakra.
I am confident and strong.
I trust myself and my decisions.
I am worthy of success and happiness.
Say these affirmations with conviction.
As you continue this meditation,
You should start to feel a sense of empowerment and self-assuredness growing within you.
Embrace this feeling and let it spread throughout your entire being.
Take a moment to express gratitude for yourself and your abilities.
Be thankful for the strength and resilience that resides within you.
When you feel ready,
Take a few more deep breaths.
Return your attention to your breath and allow it to settle back into its natural rhythm.
Wiggle your fingers and toes and restore any small movements that feel good to you in this moment,
Bringing yourself back to the present moment.
When you feel called,
Allow your eyes to slowly begin to open.
