Welcome to your Yurman breath practice,

Inspired by the Bundjalung Nation on the east coast of Australia.

This is a practice to restore vitality and bring you home to your own body and being.

Let's begin by lying down and resting into a comfortable surface.

Become aware of the back of your body,

Aware of the back of your head,

Your neck,

Your shoulders and arms,

The back of your heart,

Your shoulder blades,

Your middle back and lower back and softening down into the surface,

Unclench through your buttocks,

Cheeks,

Soften through the backs of your legs,

Including the back of your knees and rest into your heels,

Your entire back body,

Softening down and down and down.

Aware of the front of your body,

The top of your head,

Scalp and skull,

Softening through the backs of your eyes,

The space between your eyebrows,

Skin around your ears,

Unclenching your jaw and softening through your teeth,

Gums and tongue,

Opening through your throat and become aware of your heart beating within your very chest and just like the tide,

The blood of your body moves in towards your heart and out,

Yudhaman is the term for moon tide breath,

Aware of the movement or duality of the breath in and the breath out,

The energy in through your body and the energy out,

Softening through your heart,

Your chest and all of the internal organs below your ribs,

Resting down into your pelvis,

Softening through the tops of your legs and the tops of your feet,

Out through your arms to your fingers and thumbs,

Your entire body begins to rest down and down and down and the sides of your body,

Your armpits,

Ribs,

Waist,

Hips,

Legs also soften,

Nowhere else to be and nothing else to do,

Just being here right now,

Aware of your breath in and aware of your breath out.

Yudhaman,

Moon tide breath practice celebrates the life force that moves in and releases,

We begin by taking four inhales,

Pause for four,

Exhaling for a count of four and pausing again for four,

Complete your last exhale and we'll begin the four by four by four by four breath,

Let's begin now,

Breathing in for one,
