This is a talk and gentle visualization that was birthed from an insight I had during a Shamanic Journey. It's a recounting of a vision I had that brought about a profound experience of enough-ness. This is a talk to listen to when you're feeling anywhere from overwhelmed to empty. When you can sense what you need and want to are able to take it in without ego or judgment. I hope you enjoy it. Welcome!

I'm Jocelyn.

I just wanted to share something that came through as an insight during one of my shamanic journeys.

And I want to share it for those of you when you hit those times where you feel like you need so much at one point in time.

Whether it be peace of mind,

Or abundance,

Or maybe you need just a little joy,

Right?

You just you need it to come rushing in.

Or you feel that urge to have it come rushing in.

I want to give a bit of a backstory.

So I was in a moment just the other day where I was feeling really good.

And I had so much happening.

And I had cleared my energetic field so crystalline clear.

And I had a lot of things on my plate for that day.

My teacher asked us to focus on where we found home in our body that day.

And then she asked us to respond to a few words and see where the responses were in our body.

And those words were health,

Wealth,

And money.

We shared a bit about that as a group.

And then we had a two hour session.

And the session was guided by some of our answers.

It really was beautifully channeled.

And at the end of the two hour session,

She had us connect back into our sense of home.

And the session had been very profound for me.

The session had so much wisdom and insight within it.

But I hadn't totally grasped everything that I was getting.

And so when I went in and I closed my eyes to find my sense of home,

I had a vision.

And that vision I want to share with you today.

For those times where maybe you are very clear and ready to take on everything.

Or on those times when you're so full of everything,

You just want to take on something else.

Yeah?

And it goes both ways,

Doesn't it?

So if I could walk you through this vision I had.

You can feel free to close your eyes and imagine with me.

Or if you want,

You can leave your eyes open and just linger with my words.

But when I closed my eyes to gain and gather those insights from our session,

I saw myself standing on a beach with the water lapping at my feet.

And there was a sense of emptiness within me.

And I was looking out over the horizon.

And I could see the movement of the ocean as it came toward me and moved back away.

Just looking down at my feet,

I could see the water and the tide come in and go out.

So if you could imagine yourself standing on the edge of the shore,

Just breathing in the salt water,

The air,

The mist,

Listening to the roar of an ocean in front of you.

Allowing your eyes to take in all of the periphery and the horizon.

And might you imagine a large wave almost like a tsunami coming in toward you as it builds and it builds,

Gaining momentum,

Gaining size,

Gaining breath from this larger body of water.

And as it comes closer,

You realize that this tsunami wave is going to wash over you.

But you also realize that it's a wave of light,

That what you're looking out over is an ocean of light and energy.

It's just that our consciousness has defined it as an ocean of water.

But really,

When you look,

It's just light,

Energy.

And you begin to feel a connection to this body of water in front of you.

Even as this tsunami wave begins approaching.

And you stand with your feet firm in the sand because a wave of light isn't going to knock you over.

So you stand firm in your feet and you take another breath of the sea air.

And you put your arms out with your palms open to the ocean.

And you call in what you need and what you want.

And just as your words are finished,

That tsunami wave washes over you.

And you're still standing.

And you realize,

Wow,

That was not what I thought it was.

I'm still here.

And you notice that the wave begins to recede back to that ocean of light and energy.

And as it recedes back around your feet,

Your heels,

Your ankles,

Your toes,

Back to the larger body of energy,

The larger ocean of light.

And as it fully recedes,

You realize you feel just a little bit fuller.

And in my vision,

I realized that the bowl,

My pelvic bowl,

My root chakra,

Was holding a bit of that light ocean,

That light wave of tsunami within me.

And at first I thought,

Oh,

That's all I got.

Just this little bowl that was inside of me that caught what it could.

Everything else washed off and down and back to the ocean.

And then I realized that's the beauty of it.

And I can come to this place at any time,

Allow the light energy to wash over me like a tsunami,

To clear my energy,

To bring in what I'm calling for.

And anything that I don't catch just recedes back to that ocean for the next time when I'm ready for it.

It's always there.

Any time I need,

I can go to the edge of this ocean,

This place of spirit.

I can open my arms,

My palms out toward the ocean of light and ask for what I need.

And when that wave comes and washes over me,

It may not be exactly how I need it.

It may not be exactly how I envision catching that wave.

But there are parts of me that do hold on to the pieces that I need.

And anything that washes off of me goes right back to the ocean that I can visit at any time.

And in this way,

It's me receiving what I can receive when I open to it.

So at the end of my vision,

I had my hands on my belly,

And I was just breathing,

Feeling the gentle sway of the light in my root chakra as my body moved with each inhale and exhale.

And then I looked out at this beautiful ocean in front of me with the laughing at my feet on the shoreline.

And I felt such beautiful calm,

Peace,

And fullness that it was okay that everything didn't come at once because my feet were still standing there.

I still was able to receive from this beautiful gift of the ocean.

So just taking a moment to stand in front of your own ocean of light,

Your own soul scape,

Plant your feet in the sand,

Open your arms wide with your palms to the ocean of light.

And receive the tsunami of gifts that you are calling for.

And allow your body to hold on to what you need right now,

Knowing that you can come back to this place at any time.

And it is here for you.

You can receive gifts over and over in deeper depth,

In shallower water.

Notice where in your body you catch that light.

And bring your awareness there.

What is it there to teach you?

So that was my vision.

And I wanted to share it because it really was a huge insight.

There have been so many times in my life where I have wanted everything to come all at once,

Where I was not patient.

And even the small things I got,

Maybe I pushed it aside,

Or maybe I didn't appreciate it because it wasn't the tsunami that I expected or wanted.

But there is such comfort to watch the water recede back into that very same ocean that gives over and over to you.

And it is okay to let the waves wash over you.

It is okay to take what you can handle in that moment and trust that what you didn't catch is still there waiting for you.

So thank you for listening to my little bit of a story today.

I just really was taken back by that vision.

It felt like something that took 48 years to understand.

And so I want to pass it on to you.

And maybe you will have your own insights with that vision.

I was thinking it could even be a way of looking at life's tsunamis,

The things that happen to us,

The things that wash over us,

That we can again take what we need,

We can take what we can learn from,

And we can let the rest roll off and go back to the ocean.

I often think of water as the soulscape,

Whether it's a river,

The ocean,

A lake.

So thank you again for joining me on this little talk.

I'd love to hear your comments,

What you think about it,

Or if you want to comment with what your soulscape looks like,

What your tsunami of light looks like.

One of the pieces that came to me was my hair dripping with light after the tsunami went over me and was receding back to the ocean.

I was mad.

So I would love to hear visions come to you and what kind of insight you gained from that vision.

Thank you so much for joining me.

Namaste.

Thank you for sharing your vision, your light experience. The take away for me is how big my desire is to take in all the light from that tsunami wave of light but understand that although I receive a full immersion, at the end of the journey I only keep what I need at that moment. This understanding gives me the desire to repeat the tsunami experience and connect with the divine light as I practice the human experience.

She was grand and sparkling (the initial thought of tsunami was terrifying but made of energy totally changed it!) thank you!

I really loved this talk. The metaphor of the oceanscape resonates deeply with me. I am going to go do this live at the beach. Thanks Jocelyn- blessings to you. 🩵 🌊
