Welcome,
I'm Jocelyn and I am a soul art guide.
I was an expressive art therapist for many years.
I've dealt with my own fair share of grief.
I'm a mama to three beautiful young souls and I wanted to kind of tell the story of a soul art journey that I went on.
It was a journey around the union of spirit and earth.
Now just to give a bit of background,
I came to soul art around two years after I lost my parents seven days apart in 2021.
And soul art was this beautiful journey of certifications that allowed me to really explore who I was and who I am.
I was in a specific part of a journey,
What would be called a creation journey in soul art,
And I was working on the union of opposites.
The opposites for this particular union being earth and spirit.
And I started out by really tapping into what my earth realm feels like.
And then I really worked into what does my spirit realm feel like.
And then I began my soul art to find out where they came together.
The piece of soul art that I created was actually a tree that had been cut down and my parents initials were on it.
And there was one limb kind of out to the side and there's a woman,
Really a girl,
Sitting on that limb.
And where the tree trunk was taken down,
There was an infinity symbol and there were angel wings at the back of the girl and the roots of the tree were still fully intact.
It was a piece of soul art that the minute I created it,
I understood the insights.
When you work in soul art,
You really end up playing in the world of creative expression once you put your intention out and begin the journey.
And so I didn't know quite where this piece was going,
But I understood that I was just following whatever came to me after I put that intention out.
And the insights were wild.
They were really wild.
But one of the most amazing insights I had from it was about the body being a conduit for both the earth realm and the spirit realm.
And when I began to understand this and write into it and converse with my art,
I began to see all of these parallels and synchronicities of work I had been doing,
Work I had been teaching,
Art that I was creating,
Poetry I was creating.
I was really,
Probably for about six months already,
If not before that,
Really invested in this idea of our senses in the body and how we can tap into,
Relax into,
Expand and align with our senses to really be limitless in our human experience.
And when I came to this insight that the body was the conduit of the earth realm and the spirit realm,
It was like a download.
It came so fast.
This idea that I had been working in the senses began to meld and mix and stir and alchemize into the same insight.
I tell this story because I want you to understand the most magnificence that our body presents to us.
Not only is our body the vessel of our soul,
It is the temple of our soul,
But our body is also how we experience life,
How we experience life here on this earth and other realities and timelines,
Dimensions.
Here in the present now,
It is our body and our senses that allow us to experience all of it.
I'm going to give an example for each of the realms that I was working in that union with.
So for the earth realm,
For example,
We experience this earth realm with our body,
Our feet on the grass.
We feel our heart beat and race and slow down.
We can feel our body's breath.
We can see the beauty all around us.
Sunrises and sunsets and our children's smiles.
A kind act.
We get to smell the wonderful aromas and the awful aromas of this earth realm.
And sometimes when you get a certain aroma,
It brings back so much,
Right?
It can even change how we feel in a day.
We use our ears and we sense into the sounds,
The beautiful music that's here for us.
Even here on insight time are the most beautiful music you can listen to.
Frequencies,
Hearing the birds call,
Hearing laughter.
We get to taste food.
We get to feel when our mouth gets dry because we're nervous.
Or we get to feel our lover's lips,
Right?
We can sense temperature with our skin.
We can feel the wind at our back,
On our face,
In our hair.
This all comes through our body.
We even have our body as a way to feel emotion when we tear up or we have that really big belly laugh.
Or we're so darn in love with somebody that we can feel the expansion in our chest.
Our bodies do that.
Our bodies are how we experience everything.
And to put it into even more depth,
You can listen to a story.
You can listen to me here.
And as you're listening,
You can see or you can feel or you can really be involved in the experience of a story that's being told in all of your senses.
The spirit realm,
We use our clear abilities.
You know,
You might get tingles when you feel something's right or not right.
You might all of a sudden get a maybe like a rock in your gut kind of thing.
Or you might get lightheaded when something is gathering your attention from the other realms.
We use our body and we quiet our nervous system in order to find the quiet of the spirit realm.
We use our voice to pray or to give gratitude.
We use our bodies in so many ways with the spirit realm.
We allow ourselves to relax into meditation,
Taking the pressure off our body.
But we're still here using our hearts,
Our third eye,
Our crown chakras for feeling the energy.
So all of our senses are engaged when we're connecting with the spirit realm.
We offer gifts and offerings to people who have passed with our hands,
With our mouths,
With food we cook.
We know we have DNA of people who have passed here in our bodies.
In our bodies,
Our magnificent bodies.
So our bodies are the way that we communicate with the earth realm and with the spirit realm.
Our bodies are the conduit.
And I'm gonna take it even a step further for you.
I like to talk about the five senses,
You know,
Seeing,
Hearing,
Smelling,
Tasting,
Touching,
Feeling.
But I always bring in two extra senses and those are memory and it's our own particular memory from this life or our ancestral memory,
Our DNA memory.
And with that umbrella sense of memory,
We can use all five senses to cross time.
We can smell hot chocolate and we're transported to being a child or every once in a while I have a certain essential oil that my mother loved and I smell it.
I look in her aromatherapy oils and I smell it and I immediately feel like I'm being hugged by her,
Right?
I'm transported.
So all of our senses can gather under that umbrella of memory.
And the other sense I always talk about is imagination.
We can use all of our senses to imagine,
To go further,
To create,
To manifest,
To feel into what has yet to be created.
We can vision what we want in our life using our eyes.
We can feel and create with our imagination the feelings of what we want to manifest.
So we have all of these beautiful senses and they are of the body,
The conduit of spirit and earth.
And we have these two umbrella senses being memory and imagination.
And this was my insight.
How magnificent are our bodies?
How absolutely beautiful,
Perfect and imperfect,
Amazingly magnificent are our bodies?
And how many of us walk through our days without feeling the wind at our skin or our feet on the path?
How many of us eat our food so fast we forget what it feels like in our mouth?
And that's not to say you have to live with consciousness of the body and the senses all day long.
But if I can inspire you to spend a minute extra each day to really trust your senses,
To really dive into a sense,
To allow it to open up something new in your life,
Then I would be so grateful.
So I wish I could show you my soul art for this.
But it was the trunk of a tree that was cut with the infinity symbol right where the saw blade had landed.
My parents' initials written into the bark with one branch left that a woman or a girl was sitting on,
Looking out backward with wings at her back and roots in the earth.
And this girl,
Her body was the conduit of everything here in this earth and everything in the spirit realm.
So I just wanted to give you that story.
Because no matter where you are with your body,
You might be dealing with disease,
You might be dealing with pain,
You might be dealing with emotional trauma that has landed itself in your body.
But your body is the conduit of all you experience.
And so your body holds the wisdom and the presence to heal.
Your body knows the language of both earth and spirit.
So if only we could bring a little bit more trust into this world of our body,
A little more gratitude,
A little more understanding of the magnificence,
I feel like this world would be so much greater.
That's my little story today.
I might be sharing more of my soul art journeys with you.
Some of the insights and downloads that I've gained.
But this one in particular is so amazing.
So thank you for listening.
I'd love to hear your insights after hearing this track or your comments or how this resonates with you.
So thank you for listening and Namaste

Thank you, Jocelynππ»ππ»ππ»The wisdom of your SoulStory deeply resonates with me, as I have come to the same conclusion regarding the magnificence of our body as a conduit for making it possible for our Soul to have experiences, expressions, and expansions that are only possible on this earth plane. And that brings a feeling of gratitude towards my body beyond words. Thank you for sharing your story so beautifully. Curious about the SoulArt you createdππ»πππππππ»
