Explore MeditationMary is a dedicated Yoga Teacher (500hrs) and certified TRE (Tension & Trauma Releasing Exercises) provider with a passion for supporting others in aging with vitality and joy—physically, mentally, and emotionally. Originally from the Netherlands, she divides her time between her home country and the Scottish Highlands, embracing a life of gratitude and connection. With a Master's degree in Sociology (1991) and another in Chinese Language, Culture, and Literature (2006), Mary has long been drawn to Eastern philosophies. Her yoga journey began during her studies, eventually leading her to complete a 500-hour teacher training at the Yoga Academy Netherlands in Amsterdam in 2015. A member of the Dutch Yoga Association, she has since deepened her expertise through various specialised trainings, including face yoga, pelvic floor health, breast care, fascia work, and nervous system relaxation. In 2024, she earned her certification in Yoga for Posture Improvement and became a TRE provider, integrating this powerful practice into her work. Through yoga and TRE, Mary has built flexibility, strength, and resilience, guiding herself and others through life's challenges. She looks forward to sharing her knowledge and helping individuals cultivate well-being in body and mind.
