Transcript

Find a comfortable position where you can relax completely.

Close your eyes and take several deep breaths,

Allowing your body to settle and your mind to quiet.

As you breathe deeply,

Imagine yourself in a peaceful room with soft,

Diffused light.

This is your inner sanctuary,

A place of complete safety and acceptance.

In the center of this room stands a mirror.

This is no ordinary mirror.

It reveals not just your physical form,

But aspects of yourself that you may have pushed into the shadows of your unconscious.

Take a moment to acknowledge that according to Jung,

The shadow contains the parts of ourselves we've denied,

Repressed,

Or disowned.

Often the traits we judge as negative or unacceptable.

As you approach this mirror,

Remind yourself there is no growth without facing what lies in shadow.

There is no psychological safety without self-acceptance.

Now standing before the mirror,

Ask gently,

What parts of myself have I been afraid to see or acknowledge?

Wait patiently.

Notice what emerges without judgment.

Perhaps you see anger you've deemed inappropriate,

Vulnerability you've hidden,

Desires you've suppressed,

Needs you've neglected,

Traits you criticize in others.

For each shadow aspect,

Practice saying,

I acknowledge this part of myself.

It exists for a reason.

It has something to teach me.

Remember that psychological safety begins with self-compassion.

The shadow grows more powerful when denied,

Not when acknowledged.

Now imagine extending your hands toward your reflection,

Not in rejection but in welcome.

Say inwardly,

I make room for all parts of myself.

In this integration lies my wholeness and strength.

Feel the energy shift as these shadow aspects begin to integrate.

The room grows brighter,

Not because the shadows disappear but because they no longer need to hide.

As this meditation concludes,

Set an intention.

I will continue to create psychological safety within myself by acknowledging my whole being,

Shadow and light.

In this completeness I find true security.

I will continue to create psychological safety within myself by acknowledging my whole being,

Shadow and light.

In this completeness I find true security.

Take three more deep breaths.

And when you're ready,

Slowly open your eyes,

Carrying this expanded awareness with you.
