My name is Shana Laupin with Midlife Wellness.

This is a quiet spot of the internet,

A gentle space where you can come to reconnect with your inner peace,

A positive mindset,

And your natural capacity for self-healing.

I'm so grateful to be with you here tonight to guide you into a state of pure,

Blissful relaxation.

I invite you now to make yourself comfortable,

To settle in for this evening meditation and relaxation practice.

Create a safe and tranquil environment for yourself.

Make your room as dark as possible.

Adjust your blankets,

Your pillows,

Your position,

Creating the most comfortable space you can.

If you need to pause the recording,

Make any final adjustments,

Please do so now.

And when you're ready,

Welcome a sense of relaxation and peace into your mind and body.

Gently close your eyes and allow my voice to guide you.

Invite relaxation in,

As if you're welcoming an old friend.

Take a slow,

Deep inhale through your nose,

And let it out with a soft,

Releasing sigh.

Again,

Breathe in slowly,

And sigh it out,

Allowing your body to sink into the surface beneath you.

Make any small movements you need to become even more comfortable.

You may drift off to sleep.

Whenever your body is ready,

There is no need to listen to everything that I say.

Simply allow relaxation and sleep to come to you naturally,

Easily.

Begin to notice the momentum of your energy slowing down,

Gradually settling,

Finding stillness.

Now gently count your breath.

As you breathe in,

Count silently.

As you breathe out,

Allow your exhale to be one count longer than your inhale.

Each extended exhale carries away physical tension,

Emotional stress,

Anything you no longer need to hold.

Continue breathing this way for a few more gentle breath cycles.

And now allow your breath to return to its natural rhythm.

Notice the cool air as it moves in through your nostrils.

And the warm air as it leaves.

Each out-breath softens you even further.

Bring your awareness now to the palms of your hands.

Notice any sensations here,

Warmth,

Tingling,

A subtle buzzing,

Or perhaps nothing at all.

Simply notice.

By bringing your awareness here,

You are moving your energy.

You have the ability to guide sensation,

To invite ease.

Now allow your awareness to gently widen,

Expanding beyond your hands to include your entire body.

Feel the energy moving within you,

Inhabiting your body fully.

Let your attention drift naturally without directing it,

Without judging anything you find.

When you live inside your body,

When you sense your physical experience,

You are fully present.

And in this presence,

There is space.

Space between thoughts.

Space where peace and calm reside.

Notice now.

Is there anywhere you can soften a little more?

Anywhere you can let go more deeply?

Allow your physical body to relax so your thoughts can soften as well.

Visualize your body resting.

Supported.

Safe.

Allow your body to become heavy.

Allow your awareness to travel gently through your body as I mention each area.

Simply feeling.

Receiving.

Letting go.

Notice where your head meets the support beneath you.

Let your head feel heavy.

Fully held.

Soften your face.

Release any tension.

Let your jaw unclench.

Bring awareness to your mouth.

Your lips.

Your teeth.

Your tongue.

The inside of your cheeks.

Allow your entire face to soften.

Now bring awareness to your feet.

Let them relax completely.

Move upward through your lower legs and knees.

Release.

Soften.

Allow your thighs and hips to sink deeply into rest.

Bring awareness to your lower back and abdomen.

Take a slow breath here.

Inviting release.

Let your chest and arms rest heavily.

Relaxed.

Supported.

At peace.

Soften your neck and throat.

Release any emotional or physical tension.

Let the small muscles of your eyes and forehead smooth.

As they soften,

The rest of your body follows.

Heavy.

Relaxed.

At peace.

You are safe.

You are supported.

You deserve deep rest.

You deserve deep rest.

Now gently turn your awareness inward.

Notice what is true for you in this moment.

There is nothing to fix.

Nothing to change.

Come and go like a gentle river flowing past you.

You do not need to follow them.

Each thought rises and falls away.

If it helps,

Quietly name a thought as it appears.

Planning.

Remembering.

Worry.

And then let it drift downstream.

Return again and again to the sensations of the body.

If you resist the current of the river,

It pushes harder.

But when you allow it,

You float effortlessly.

Notice the space growing between your thoughts.

Allow yourself to go deeper still.

You deserve deep rest.

You deserve deep rest.

Let awareness soften.

Let boundaries blur.

Sense a place inside you.

Your inner wisdom.

This is where insight lifts.

This is where rest begins.

Open gently to whatever arises.

Your subconscious mind is clear.

Your body knows how to sleep.

Allow yourself to surrender.

Sleep is inviting you.

You deserve deep rest.

You deserve deep rest.

As you drift into dreaming rest,

Your mind and body continue to soften.

To heal.

To restore.

My voice will gradually fade and you will sleep deeply.

When you wake,

You will carry this calm with you.

A clear mind.

A peaceful body.

You are ready to rest now.

Sweet dreams,

My friend.

You deserve deep rest.

You deserve deep rest.

Allow yourself to surrender.

Sleep is inviting you.

You deserve deep rest.

You deserve deep rest.

Sleep is inviting you.

You deserve deep rest.

You deserve deep rest.

Allow yourself to surrender.

Sleep is inviting you.

Allow yourself to surrender.

Sleep is inviting you.

You deserve deep rest.

You deserve deep rest.

Sleep is inviting you.

You deserve deep rest.

You deserve deep rest.
