Hello beautiful.

Namaste and welcome.

My name is Brianna Marie and you've made it to Mind Your Mindful.

Have you ever hesitated or felt an uncomfortable sensation in your throat while speaking?

This could be an inclination that it felt inauthentic or that you may have been creatively inhibited.

These sensations or experiences can happen during interpersonal relationships,

In the workplace,

Or even in the way that we speak to ourselves.

Today we will be practicing a yoga nidra to support clarifying the essence of a shuddha chakra or the throat chakra.

This energy center located in the throat.

This practice invites you to rest deeply and to tune into the space from within,

Your inner voice.

This practice invites you to rest deeply and to tune into the space from within,

To tune into your inner voice.

This voice that can enable you to speak more authentically through your voice,

Your thoughts,

And emotions.

Let's begin by finding a sanctuary for you in your physical body.

Could you find a space to lay down?

With your limbs extending,

Seeking connection with gravity.

Drawing in comfort with props,

Pillows,

Blankets,

And an eye covering.

Grabbing headphones to optimize the listening experience.

Take a few moments to find your most luscious space of comfort.

Could you become more comfortable?

Allow your physical being to speak to you.

Is there anything that could support you more deeply in a space of comfort?

Trust in your body's innate wisdom to create a space of deep comfort and allow for the time to optimize the supports around you.

Invite drawing your shoulders down and away from the ears.

Shifting out through the hips to lengthen out through the lower spine.

Welcoming gentle stretches.

Whatever it may be,

Could you intentionally welcome any final adjustments as you settle into stillness?

Could you begin to sense the breath?

The rise,

The fall.

The ebbs and flow of vibrations moving through the space of the mouth and the throat.

Sensing the waves of breath moving through the whole body.

Sensing the space of gravity cradling you.

And with each breath,

Allow the limbs to become cradled into the supports beneath you.

Letting tensions melt away.

And with nothing left to do here and no place to be,

Could you sense the peace of being presently aware in the here and now?

Becoming consciously aware and restfully conscious.

Inviting all of your awareness into the space of the physical body.

Could you begin to sense the energetic space of the throat?

This conduit between mind and heart.

Sensing the breath flowing in and down through the conduit into the space of the chest.

The breathing space filling the lungs.

And sensing the gentle release of energy with each exhale.

This channel between the space of the mind to the space of the heart.

The throat chakra symbolizes the energetic home of seeking and speaking the truth.

And it nourishes the openness of self-assurance and honoring the authentic voice from within.

With the balancing of this chakra,

This energetic space allows us to stand in our power.

To express our voice internally and externally with clarity and confidence.

Could you welcome this power to cultivate a mantra that rings true for you?

That instills a sense of vibration and reverberation from your innermost being.

This vibration that resounds down and out through the whole physical body.

And moves out and down into the more subtle energetic layers of the self.

Perhaps you have an intention you may already be working with.

Or perhaps you could say,

I will allow my authentic voice to shine forward.

Or my honesty will attract honesty.

Or by voicing my needs and desires,

I become willing to receive.

Allow the vibration of these words to play in the space of your mind.

Or come to the space of the lips three times.

Let this vibration of words ripple out into the space around you.

Allowing the vibration of intention to carry you into a space of gentleness.

A space of conscious awareness and restful consciousness.

Utilizing the bridge to the space of the subconscious mind to plant this vibration of authenticity.

Vishuddha chakra connects with the space of ether.

Here we welcome the stillness and the essence of space and time.

To connect with our inner being as we become witness without judgment to what can unfold.

Could you attune your ears to the vibration of my words?

Allowing the gentle hum of my voice to carry you into a space of deep relaxation.

Allow the vibrations to meet at the center of the forehead.

In the space of the mind's eye.

Sensing a gentle ripple.

A vibration sending waves of relaxation down and out through the whole body.

Sensing the eyes and the eyelids.

The windows of the soul welcoming quietude from the light.

The skull.

Sensing relaxation from being held into the space of gravity from the earth's supports.

Sensing gravity cradling the back of the head.

Sensing the breath moving down and through the channel of the throat.

Noticing the vibrations of relaxation moving down and through the chest and belly.

Sensing both shoulders.

Sensing both elbows.

Wrists.

The thumb.

First finger on both hands.

Second finger.

Third finger.

Fourth finger.

And both little fingers.

Coming back into the space of the chest.

And up through the channel of the throat.

From each of the tips of the fingers.

Sensing the energy moving through this conduit of vibrational energy from the chest outward.

As you sense the vibration of breath.

Could you welcome in brahmahari or buzzing bee breath.

To the channel of the space in vishuddha chakra.

Allowing the body to remain relaxed.

Softening through the space of the jaw and tongue.

Letting the lips softly meet.

Inhale deeply through the nose.

And exhale a gentle hum from the throat.

Inhaling through the nose.

Exhaling the vibrational hum through the space of the throat.

With each hum.

Each buzz.

Could you visualize light blue ripples.

Of energetic light.

Giving charge to the authenticity of your inner voice.

The satya or truth in the words you think and speak.

An expression of clarity and confidence moving in and through the channels of breath.

Allow the breath to soften back into its natural flow.

As you welcome the space of gravity beneath you.

Connecting you to the space of comfort all around you.

Allowing the vibrations and ripples to become softer and gentler.

With each natural wave of breath.

Carrying the body into a deep state of relaxation.

In the space of restful consciousness.

Could you recall your intention or mantra here?

Repeating it to the inner voice of your mind.

And welcoming it to resonate through the channel of the mind and the heart space in the throat.

Could you tap into the potential of the power of your words within?

Welcoming an awareness back to the breath.

Could you take a deep breath in through the mouth?

Sensing the coolness of the air touching the inner walls of the mouth and throat.

Could you begin to awaken the physical body through light movement?

Gentle stretches through the limbs.

Stretching out the fingers and touching fingertips together.

Gently rocking the head from side to side.

Allowing your eye covering to fall over to one side of the body.

The eyes remain closed or the gaze remains very soft.

When you feel very ready.

Slowly welcome awareness back to the present moment by opening the eyes.

Placing the hands stacked at the heart center.

Could you presence gratitude for yourself?

To say thank you out loud for creating this space in your day to rest.

And to honor the call of the voice that led you here.

Know that you can add this practice to your reservoir of wellness.

To tap into the clarity and authenticity of your voice through self-expression.

Calling in this practice to feel balanced or to call in more balance.
