Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down.

Take some time to relax and let your body rest fully into the earth.

Sensing the support beneath you rising.

In this exercise,

We're going to project into the future and envision a reality that we truly desire.

So I encourage you to get creative,

Playful,

Imaginative and dream big.

Begin to notice your breath as you transition deeper into the body,

Allowing your mind to switch off.

Letting your body relax and be held by the ground beneath you.

Nowhere else to be but here in this moment.

Give yourself any permissions you need to let go of any limiting beliefs or stories.

Breathe in and release.

We're going to begin this journey with 10 deep breaths where we'll breathe into the belly,

The diaphragm and the chest.

Pausing at the top and releasing through the mouth.

On the last one,

We'll hold for a count of 10.

We're going to begin breathing through the nose in 3,

2,

1.

Breathe in,

Belly,

Diaphragm,

Chest.

Pause,

Release through the mouth.

Breathe in,

1,

2,

3.

Pause,

Let it go.

Breathing in fully.

Fully.

Pausing.

Release.

Breathing in,

Pause.

Big breath in,

Release.

Last one,

Feeling from the bottom up.

Holding at the top.

Now let your imagination span forward 4 years into the future.

Notice where you're sitting.

How are you sitting?

Have a look around.

What's your environment?

Are there people around you?

And what's the feeling state?

Collected,

Excited,

Inspired,

Motivated.

Take another deep breath in,

Filling up.

Release through the mouth.

Drop a little bit deeper into this vision.

What more is there to see?

Perhaps you can look around you.

Colors.

Temperature.

Smells.

Take another deep breath in.

Filling up.

Pausing.

Releasing through the mouth.

Letting yourself expand,

Deepen into any sensations you're receiving as this future version of yourself.

Dropping more fully into sensation as if deepening beneath sensation.

Inquiring a bit further.

What's your ideal work life?

And how does it feel when you're in that space?

Now envision your ideal home life.

Where do you live?

What country?

What kind of dwelling?

And what are the sensations present in your body with your dream reality?

What feelings,

Scents and sounds are you aware of?

Breathing in.

Expanding.

Releasing.

Now as you witness your future self in their fully desired expansive state,

I invite you to turn around and ask your future self,

Is there anything that I need to know right now?

Take a deep breath in.

Filling up fully.

Pausing at the top.

Releasing.

Listening with full body awareness.

Asking your future self,

What's the next step?

For me.

Take a full breath in.

Exhale.

Listening with full body presence.

Take this opportunity to ask any other questions that come to mind.

Looking down,

You notice that your future self may have a gift for you.

Gratefully receive the gift.

Thank your future self.

Give gratitude for the vision.

Take a step backwards.

Turn around.

And slowly begin your descent back into your body in the present moment.

Taking a breath in.

Exhaling.

Starting to notice the ground beneath you.

Eight.

Take another few steps into the present.

Seven.

Place your hand on your body.

Sense the air around you brushing onto your skin.

Five.

Six.

Let any sounds in your current environment sink in to your awareness.

Letting your fingers and toes find some movement.

Breathing in to the hand placed on your body.

Opening your eyes and letting the light filter in.

Welcome back.

I invite you to grab a journal and a pen and simply let your hand move on the paper allowing words to flow without any sense of analyst or judgment.
